Corey Conners absolutely loves TPC San Antonio. The 33-year-old has two PGA TOUR wins on his resume and both came at this Texas venue. Despite being a Monday qualifier for the 2019 Valero Texas Open, Conners went onto win by two shots that week. The Canadian then secured his second win at TPC San Antonio in 2023, which included a first round eight-under 64, which is two-shots shy of the course record. Conners has shot under par in 20 of his 24 rounds at the venue and, among the players in this week’s field that have competed at TPC San Antonio more than twice, Conners ranks first in average finish at 17th place. Conners’ elite ability to draw the ball makes him a perfect match for TPC San Antonio and, returning to the track in immaculate form this week, Conners should contend for his third Valero Texas Open victory.

The Canadian is coming off an outstanding Florida swing, in which he finished T3 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, T6 at THE PLAYERS Championship and T8 at the Valspar Championship, in that order. Despite all these Florida courses being difficult tests of golf, Conners gained strokes in every major category during all these starts and he shot under par in all 12 of his rounds. Impressively, Conners gained an elite 2.58 strokes per round during the Florida swing, which led the entire PGA TOUR. His incredible three-start run in Florida moved Conners up 29 spots in the World Golf Rankings and he now heads to TPC San Antonio sitting at a career-best No. 21.

Conners truly doesn’t have a blemish to his game right now and this is without question the best week of the season to use him in your OAD pool. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Conners carries the third-best odds to win the Valero Texas Open this week at +1600.
