Lowry has never missed a cut in seven starts at PGA National, and he has been on the brink of winning at this course the past three years, finishing runner-up, T5th, and T4th, in that order. Lowry is gaining an incredible 2.7 strokes per round in his last three starts at PGA National, and he hasn’t shot over par in 12 straight rounds at the venue, which is extremely impressive considering PGA National is the 18th most difficult course over the last decade based on average scoring, including courses that have hosted major championships.
