Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
DraftKings, your paradise of DFS nirvana, has done it again, with a new contest called NBA Starting 5. It’s so easy to play that my dad would have fun with it, and he barely knows how to text me. You select one point guard, one shooting guard, one small forward, one power forward and one […]

Back when the Ball brothers made Chino Hill High School a household name, there was another player that kept catching the eye of scouts, as Onyeka Okongwu flashed athleticism and was flushing down oops from LaMelo Ball. Okongwu then attended USC for one year and performed well, averaging 16.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.2 steals and […]

Nikola Jokic is one of the best players in the game, for both real life and fantasy. He’s efficient, stuffs the stat sheet and is a threat to triple-double on any given night. In the opening game of the season against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Jokic notched his 149th career triple-double with 16 points, 12 […]

Last season, Jake Ferguson garnered 102 targets, the seventh-most for tight ends. There were ten games he received at least seven targets with two in double digits. Ferguson converted those into 71 receptions for 761 yards, five touchdowns and 40 first downs. Through six weeks this season, Ferguson has 34 targets, tied with Jalen Tolbert […]

LaMelo Ball is one of the most exciting and electric basketball players in the Association. Unfortunately, he’s played over 51 games just once in his four-year career, and totaled 22 and 36 games over the last two seasons. In Wednesday’s opening night season debut, though, Ball reminded us all that he’s one of the best […]

The season couldn’t have opened up any better than it did on Wednesday for the Warriors, as they defeated the Trail Blazers, 139-104. More importantly, no one played more than 25 minutes. Stephen Curry played 25 minutes and finished the night with 17 points, nine rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and three treys. On Thursday, […]

Pelicans point guard Dejounte Murray (hand) played 30 minutes on Thursday. He didn’t have the greatest game, shooting only 4-of-15 from the field and 0-of-3 from downtown, but he managed to contribute 14 points, eight rebounds, 10 assists and one steal. After the game, though, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that Murray fractured his left hand. […]

The Patriots passing game has been putrid this season, posting the fifth-lowest Total EPA. So being one of the leaders of the receiving group isn’t something to brag about. That said, being one of the leaders in any situation is always a good thing, and DeMario Douglas has been that for the Patriots this season, […]

Minnesota streaked into their bye undefeated. However, the Lions knocked them off their perch with a 31-29 victory in Week 7. The vaunted Vikings defense was pillaged for 31 points and 391 total yards of offense. Jared Goff went 22-of-25 for 280 yards and two touchdowns while Jahmyr Gibbs scampered 15 times for 116 yards […]
