Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
The 49ers have been ravaged by injuries this season. That’s what happens when you make it to the Conference Championship three years in a row, then lose in the Super Bowl when you get there. The gods became displeased and are trying to vanquish the 49ers from the playoff race. Christian McCaffrey hasn’t played a […]

Week 8. It’s time to be Tony the Tiger “Greeeeeeaaaattttt!!” My heart goes out to those who live in a DFS-forbidden state. That truly makes me irate, but I have no doubt that the love is strong to induce travel across the interstate. Let us open the gate and see what players lie in wait, […]

Minnesota opens the 2024-25 in Los Angeles to face the Lakers, and there is tons of optimism in Timberwolves land after the 56-26 finish last season and trip to the Conference Finals. But Karl-Anthony Towns was traded to New York and Julius Randle replaced him over the offseason. That could allow Naz Reid to have […]

Victor Wembanyama was the most hyped and anticipated prospect since LeBron James. And he not only delivered but added some rainbow sprinkles, cherries and whipped cream. This is just the beginning for Wembanyama, as he’s going to level up due to experience and maturity, but also because of the acquisition of Chris Paul. Paul is […]

Oh, baby. Hoops is back. The squeak of the sneakers. The bounce of the balls. The shrill of the whistles. The clanks from the rim. The glistening of the sweat. The copious amounts of space in the paint from 5-out offenses. Red Panda at halftime. “Baaaaang!”s from Breen. A new season is upon us, and […]

McConkey suffered a hip injury likely during Wednesday’s practice, as he was listed as “limited” during Thursday’s session. There’s been no mention of how the injury occured or the severity of it. With the Week 7 game on Monday night, McConkey does get an extra day to rest. I am working under the assumption that […]

Through six weeks, George Pickens is the number 35 wide receiver in fantasy football, averaging 10.5 FPTS per game and racking up a total 63.3 FPTS on the season. That was with Justin Fields at quarterback, but Pickens said Russell Wilson will be under center in Week 7. During his rookie season, Pickens posted a […]

When Aaron Rodgers took his talents to New York last year, the screams of joy traveled from the subway vents on the sidewalks of NYC to the windows of one skyscraper to another. But then he suffered an Achilles injury on the first series and the season went kaput. The optimism popped up like a […]

This will be the easiest piece I’ve ever written, as the answer is absolutely NO! I kid I kid. Well, maybe not, but let me at least dig in a little bit. As with most things in life, it’s all about cost. And there have been some changes to the roster, from both trades and […]

The Los Angeles Chargers play the Arizona Cardinals on Monday night, and the matchup is certainly a juicy one for any passing attack, as the the Cardinals have allowed the second-highest Pass EPA and have been most generous in success rate by a wide margin. Fehoko played in 51% of the snaps in Week 6, […]

After missing four weeks due to a hamstring injury, Pierce returned to action in Week 6 and balled out. He averaged 9.5 yards per carry and rushed for 43 yards over expectation. In addition, Houston traded Cam Akers to Minnesota on Tuesday, clearing up the depth chart at running back. The Texans have one of […]
