Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
Entering Week 6, Sean Tucker played a total of three snaps over two games. With Rachaad White unable to go due to injury, Tucker was elevated to the backup role and played 29 snaps (38%). Bucky Irving, who had been taking playing time away from White due to his stellar play, assumed the lead duties […]

Rashod Bateman was selected with the 27th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Much was expected from the 6-foot, 190-pound receiver who ran the 40 in 4.41 seconds and posted an impressive 6.95 three-cone. Unfortunately, his career has been mired by injuries and poor play. In his first three seasons, Bateman started only 21 […]

After playing 11 snaps in Week 6 due to a hamstring injury, there’s a chance Jaguars RB Travis Etienne plays in Week 7, as he was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday. The game script should be favorable — Jacksonville is favored by 5.5 points over New England in London. With that said, the […]

The Broncos are surprisingly 3-3 on the season, primarily due to their defense. The rush defense has allowed the third-lowest success rate and eighth-lowest Rush EPA. The pass defense has been equally as good, maybe even better, allowing the fourth-lowest success rate and third-lowest Pass EPA. The unit has the third-highest sack rate, second-highest pressure […]

Week 7. May this be the slate that the fantasy goodies rain down from the heavens. I can’t lie, though. I’m in a state of depression because Tampa Bay is not on the main slate, meaning that we cannot reap the inevitable three-touchdown performance from Mike Evans. But don’t worry, I won’t turn into a […]

NFL Week 7 is almost in the books, pending the Sunday and Monday night matchups, but the opening odds for Week 8 are up on DraftKings Sportsbook and it’s time to give a lookey-loo. We have no teams on bye. Yippeee!!! And no London game. Woohooo!!! On Thursday night, the Minnesota Vikings fly to Los […]

The National League Championship Series is now set after the sixth-seeded New York Mets dispatched of the number-two seed Philadelphia Phillies in the divisional round, while the top-seeded Los Angeles Dodgers won Game 5 over the San Diego Padres on Friday to advance. The Dodgers had the best regular season and therefore have home field […]

Prior to the start of the season, the 49ers were the favorites to win the NFC West at -200. And why not, as they have one of the most complete rosters from a talent perspective and have made the NFC Championship Game in four of the last five years. That includes two Super Bowl appearances. […]

UPDATE 9:49 PM ET: Mason did join the 49ers sideline with around 30 seconds left in the halftime and was in the game for the first play of the second half, rushing nine yards. Mason did go back to the sideline on the next play, though, and was seen rotating his shoulder. Guerendo was in […]

Last season, the New York Jets had the most anemic offense, as they scored a league-low 22 touchdowns. But Aaron Rodgers was lost for the season in the first game and New York had to trot out the three-headed monster of Zach Wilson, Trevor Siemian and Tim Boyle at quarterback. Yuck. But there was tremendous […]
