Fridays are for Five Lists of Five! And, would you lookie there—it’s Week 5. Alliteration goes nutbar right now. I’ll be doing this for every week of the season. Think of these as byte-sized, two-minutes-to-yourself lists to scan during your weekend as you foam at the mouth for any competitive fantasy edge. As much relevant […]

All the Carson Steele hype during the offseason really buried the Samaje Perine lede, didn’t it? Fantasy managers everywhere were intrigued, to say the least, when Perine—a veteran receiving back—came to Kansas City to fill the Jerick McKinnon role. But Steele stole headlines in the preseason, and Perine’s name was largely forgotten. An season of […]

If we were making roster decisions simply based on palpable charisma, it’d be Legette in a boat race, here. But, unfortunately, it’s not, and both Xavier Legette and Jonathan Mingo are fantasy football ambiguities. They both ran the same number of routes last week. They tied for second on the team behind Diontae Johnson. The […]

We’re back with Week 5’s best fantasy football stash players, courtesy of our resounding success last week! In Week 4, we hit on: Tank Bigsby, Roschon Johnson, Jordan Addison, Xavier Legette, and Darnell Mooney (again). Hope you stashed ’em! They’ve all got season-long value, now. Follow me on X at @dansby_edits for all my stat-and-sleeper-related […]

We’re back for the Week 5 edition of Defense Start ‘Em/Sit ‘Em. As always—two for each category. Start ’em Indianapolis Colts D/ST (at Jacksonville Jaguars; 9.5% rostered) There is still value in this defense, even if they had a middling 7.0-FPT performance last week against the Steelers. They did, however, record four sacks and force […]

After his postgame comments last week about his periodic exhaustion in Week 4, Jerry Jeudy’s ($5,200) drawn headlines, once again, for marble-mouthing to the media. It’s become a bit of a bugaboo of his; I’m not sure Jeudy’s ever been particularly deft with the media—thinking back, here, to the Steve Smith feud two years ago. […]

We’re back to make more business decisions ahead of Week 5. And it’s only getting more excruciating seeing names we all were once so excited about become less-and-less valuable. Once again, if you’re curious as to who I might recommend picking up to fill the slots, check out: I’ll be accompanying this weekly article with […]

Through four games, Jahmyr Gibbs only has two touchdowns—one on the ground, and one through the air on this season’s contender for top play through four weeks: the Week 3 hook-and-ladder. And yet, on DraftKings Sportsbook tonight, his Anytime TD price is -115. You’d think Gibbs was scoring like Kyren Williams out there with this […]

It’d be about time for Ridley to blow up tonight on Monday Night Football—that’s for dang sure. I’m not sure how much more patient fantasy managers and Ridley/Titans fans more broadly can be with the first-year Tennessee wideout. He’s going to have to do some serious work on the Dolphins secondary. Fantasy managers with Ridley […]

“Any zombies out there?” Sure are, Ed! As September rolls like a decapitated jack-o-lantern into October, we here at DKNetwork want to pay homage to Shaun of the Dead. Edgar Wright’s 2004 film ranks, at least for me, among my top-five best zombie movies ever made. Ed might here ask me: Who died and made […]

Just as both teams went to halftime in their Week 4 matchup, the San Francisco 49ers announced that George Kittle is officially questionable to return for the second half against the New England Patriots with a rib injury. Before leaving the game, Kittle had three receptions on three targets for 38 yards and one absolutely […]
