Short answer: maybe! However, word from Jefferson and HC Kevin O’Connell is that the injury appears, at least for now, to be quite minor. There have been no official practice reports yet, though, so nothing is whatsoever official. In the third quarter of Sunday’s tilt against the 49ers, Jefferson was blocking for Ty Chandler on […]

First of all, my most emphatic condolences if you’re a season-long Cooper Kupp owner. We’ve all seen the walking boot tweet. We all were banking on his ankles being healthier than they have been in three years, since his triple-crown-winning 2021 season. But, here we are. I wrote about Jordan Whittington in my How to […]

What’s Monday good for, if not for a heaping plate of crow set in front of you by the football gods. And you can’t leave the table until you’ve licked your plate clean. Here’s what I said about Marvin Harrison, Jr. last week in my NFL Rookie of the Year Odds Tracker for Week 2 […]

You can’t. But you must. At least that’s how it feels. Especially with the walking boot tweet, and watching the way the Cardinals’ front seven obliterated the Rams’ patchwork, wet-paper-bag offensive line. Many Cooper Kupp owners expected a fully-healthy sixty minutes yesterday, with some absurd percentage of the Rams’ target share, and somewhere in the […]

Week 2 marks the advent of season-long fantasy managers evaluating juicy matchups to possibly exploit. This, of course, is instead of rolling with your studs. Ex. If you’ve got A.J. Brown going against Sauce Gardner, you may have doubts about whether or not Brown could perform to his highest level, given the difficult matchup. Every […]

Gosh, I don’t know what gets me more excited about Friday the 13th: all the literary associations of the numerology as it pertains to ancient texts and lore, or the absolute suggestion of brutal, scream-happy gore that this day evokes. I want to talk about the cultural legacy of Friday the 13th, specifically as it […]

Every week, I’m going to be checking in on the hangar of high-flying, fantasy-relevant pass-catchers to evaluate growing trends in opportunity volume. I’m calling it my High-Flying Hangar series. You can check out my twitter, @dansby_edits, for weekly stat threads for pass-catchers and other fantasy-/betting-relevant players. As for this series: We all know that a […]

Alright—enough of the doom-mongering. We’ve slogged our way through the devastating injury reports from Week 1 for the past two days. Yet again, it seems like we’re watching marquee names drop like flies to knee injuries to begin the season. Alas! Let’s pivot. Sunday had its share of absolutely electric moments. It proffered us a […]

Here at DKN, we’re not just focused on the DFS and the season-long fantasy implications of a given NFL week. We’re also keeping a close eye on how performances each week affect the market for futures bets at DraftKings Sportsbook. To wit, I’m going to be tracking all the shifts in the Rookie of the […]
