Big Brother Live Feed Spoilers: Thursday Recap from Season 28 Week 6

The start of a new week means a new Head of Household! Following Thursday’s live eviction which saw Chuk go out in the most Chuk fashion possible, we got the next HOH comp.

Yash won a Y2K-themed knockout comp and immediately declared that “one of the girls” has to go. Get ready for a trip to the bro zone, y’all.

Big Brother Season 28 Week 5 Results

Sunday’s episode began Week 5 of the summer-long competition, as a new Head of Household was crowned. For the first time this season, a member of the Toolshed DID NOT win the HOH comp, with LaTrice earning a shocking win over Kamu in the legendary Wall comp to become the new Head of Household.

This is the first time many of the members of the now seemingly-dead Toolshed alliance will have to fight from behind, so to speak, with the Red Corner in particular in serious jeopardy, as LaLa has nominated both Haley and Chuk.

Kamu won this week’s Power of Veto competition but chose not to use it, marking the first time this season the veto has gone unused. That left former allies Haley and Chuk on the block heading into Thursday night’s BB Blockbuster. Haley won the BB Blockbuster, leaving Chuk and Barrett on the block, with Chuk ultimately becoming the fifth person evicted in Big Brother Season 28.

Big Brother Thursday Live Feed Spoilers

Welcome to the bro zone

Get ready for the HOH room to become the He-Man Women Haters Club, because Yash is your new HOH.

In what sounds like a New Year’s Eve Y2K knockout comp, it sounds like Yash beat out Barrett for power, but we’ll have to wait for Sunday’s episode to be sure. One thing that is for sure — Yash is DETERMINED to not see a bro go home on his watch.

With that in mind, it certainly limits Yash’s options. As does the fact he seems pretty tight with LaLa and Taylor. Earlier in the season, it was almost an accepted truth in the house that Yash did not work well with women, so it was fair to assume that the women of the house probably knew they would have to campaign hard to stay off the block this week.

Melody immediately throws the Icons under the bus, bringing up the vote flip that wasn’t, which would have kept Haley had she not won the Blockbuster. This is a particular sore spot for Yash, as they intentionally kept it from him. Melody further puts the target on Angela, which seems to be something Yash can get behind.

Yash has already decided that his plan is to nominate Dee, Angela and Haley, with Melody as his likely backup nom. Taylor pitches nominating Melody, but with the idea being a plan to backdoor Haley instead. After all, Haley was the house target last week. During the course of the conversation, Yash has a WILD take on Dee that seems totally out of left field.

When it comes to Dee, she shouldn’t expect any help from Kamu. It seemed like Dee was in a good place with Kamu after last week, but Kamu learned that Dee threw him under the bus for instigating the Angela-Haley fight in the gym last week. So now he seems done with Dee and says if he had won HOH she would have been his target. Kamu went all out trying to pivot Yash to targeting Dee, again noting that she specifically told him not to tell Yash about the vote flip.

Kamu also extends his anti-Dee campaign to Drew, revealing that Drew was the target the week he was on the block and that Dee was leading that charge. And while he doesn’t think Dee and Devens are actually that tight (Chuk-level bad read, bro), he’s not sure that Devens can be trusted.

For the moment, it looks like Yash’s targets have remained the same. but nothing is locked in for sure yet. Except, of course, for the fact that if you’re not a bro you got to go.

Haley can’t stop, won’t stop

Haley survived to fight another day in the house thanks to a win in the BB Blockbuster. Did going up on the block do anything to humble the former D1 softball player after a terrible case of HOHitis? Well….

Not only does Haley have the insane notion that America will vote for her to go into the time capsule, but she goes on to talk a big game on what she would have done to Jason when he was banging pots and pans near her head if they were outside the house. She is still convinced she is the victim of bullying in the house, and notes that all the guys came up to her to apologize for how she was being treated.

The lack of self-awareness is stunning, and it feels like Haley was created in the reality TV lab to be the perfect villain. I can’t wait for Haley’s reaction when she doesn’t get voted into the BB Time Capsule this week. And combine it with her likely being on the block? Just another bad week in the house for Haley.

In what has to be good news for the houseguests, there will be NO havenots this week. No more spinning on a torture wheel!

Devens debuted a new ‘do during Thursday’s episode courtesy of his barber, Yash. That’s right — Devens willing gave himself the awful Yash cut. Becca Devens wasn’t a fan … at least until Yash won HOH. That has her reconsidering her initial review.

And finally, at the end of a long week which included a trip to a 1970s disco, I’ll leave you with Yash dancing his way into the weekend. Have a good one, y’all!
