Monday was a big day on the Big Brother live feeds, as Kamu made his decision about whether to use the Power of Veto or not. We also saw how his decision impacted the campaigning going on in the house as we get closer and closer to Thursday’s next live eviction vote.
Here’s what you need to know from the Monday’s Big Brother live feeds.

Big Brother Season 28 Week 5 Results
Sunday’s episode began Week 5 of the summer-long competition, as a new Head of Household was crowned. For the first time this season, a member of the Toolshed DID NOT win the HOH comp, with LaTrice earning a shocking win over Kamu in the legendary Wall comp to become the new Head of Household.
This is the first time many of the members of the now seemingly-dead Toolshed alliance will have to fight from behind, so to speak, with the Red Corner in particular in serious jeopardy, as LaLa has nominated both Haley and Chuk. Will LaLa’s HOH really be able to shift the power in the house? We’ll have to see how this week plays out!
- Head of Household: LaTrice
- Power of Veto winner: Kamu
- Nominees: Haley, Chuk and Barrett (Kamu did not use the Power of Veto)
- Evicted last week: Lyric
- Remaining players: 13
- Next episode: Wednesday, August 12 (Power of Veto competition)
Big Brother Monday Live Feed Spoilers
Red Corner about to be KO’d?
So yesterday was the day the rubber met the road — Kamu has been saying he’s done with the Red Corner since Thursday’s blindside, but would his actions match his words? Having won the Power of Veto, Kamu had the option to take one of his two former Red Corner allies, Chuk or Haley, off the block. Would he fall back into old habits, essentially doing a WWE-style heel turn?
No, no, he would not.

Some were shocked that Kamu kept the POV in his pocket, but he says he had to do it. That doesn’t mean it was easy, as he has been close to Haley and Chuk since Day 1. But, Kamu feels he had to create some distance since the whole house seems to want them on the block. And he had to show he’s not still a part of that trio.
Kamu- I had to also show everybody that I am not part of this super trio. Hopefully that right there, the message is received. Drew- I will see what everyone is saying. I will let you know. Kamu- If people still think we are attached at the hip, what more can I do? #BB28

Kamu explained his thinking to Chuk, saying it would have been an impossible decision between him and Haley. However, later in the day, Kamu would begin campaigning against Chuk, saying he trusts Haley more while implying Chuk isn’t the sharpest tool in the Toolshed. If Chuk is looking for the license plate of the bus that just ran him over I believe it is K-A-M-U.
Kamu has already gone to work trying to save Haley and is currently throwing Chuk under the bus to Drew #bb28 pic.twitter.com/go4aYymsbK

Despite those efforts, the tide in the house seems to be turning back toward sending Haley home this week. A day after several houseguests pondered whether or not it made more sense to keep Haley around as a potential heat magnet, we see Drew tell Kamu that he thinks Haley is going home this week and LaLa tell her people in the HOH room that the order should start with the former softball player.
To that end, Taylor tried to help coach up Chuk, making sure he was out campaigning and advising him not to wear his hat when he is working the vote. However, despite all this advice Chuk continues to have another of his now trademark bad reads. Riddle me this: How can you say you know everything that has happened in the house when you literally just got blindsided last week?
Taylor- I hope you ain't over there falling asleep when you need to get to work. Chuk- I have been at work since yesterday. Taylor- Nah, cause you wasnt saying what you needed to say. Don't wear your hat when you are at work either #BB28 pic.twitter.com/HHiYZWFa5G

As we get closer to eviction night, it feels more and more like Haley will be headed home if she does not win the BB Blockbuster. The tide has turned too much against her following a disastrous HOH reign and even she feels resigned to her impending doom. Chuk may survive, and he says being nominated made him even more hungry, but it sure feels like he’s become so isolated with Haley that he won’t be far behind her heading out that door. In the end, I think Taylor is right when she says Chuk is a lost cause.
Taylor’s time to shine
Speaking of Taylor, it’s been a big week for the elementary school counselor. Not only has she been a major factor in LaLa’s HOH, but she has been solidifying her own place as a player in the house moving forward. To that end, with LaLa in power, Taylor has made use of this time to re-open discussions about her Tethers plan with Devens and Kamu.
Taylor- Lala would be my tether, Dee could be one of y'alls tethers. Mallory or Melody? Devens- I don't think we could get any one of them without it going to the whole. Kamu- I think if we bring in Melody, Mallory, Drew, or Barrett, they are all going to know about it. Taylor-…

But the people at home aren’t the only ones noticing Taylor making moves. Barrett and Drew are getting concerned about her and even worse for Taylor, Dee is also taking note. I mentioned yesterday that Taylor was getting on Dee’s radar. But yesterday, Dee outright told Devens that she’s not vibing with Taylor.
Dee says she is not vibing with Taylor. Dee tells Devens that Lala does not trust him. Dee says Drew would be the best to send home between, Barrett, Mallory and Melody. Dee says Taylor, Lala and Yash are the strategic threats. Dee and Devens agree having Kamu is important,… pic.twitter.com/dmOD66ccNM

Once the Red Corner is sent packing, things should really get interesting as battle lines are drawn in the house.
