Kamu won the Power of Veto and put it back in the box. His former Red Corner allies are still on the block, abandoned by the one person who could have saved them, and one of them is almost certainly walking out the door Thursday night.

Here’s everything to know about the live eviction episode, including the air time, how to watch and what to expect from a house that has completely reshuffled in the span of a week.

What happened last time on Big Brother Season 28?

Wednesday’s episode was a bloodbath — emotionally, at least. Angela cracked under the guilt of lying about her blindside vote and confessed to Haley, who was shocked and furious. That confession triggered a chain reaction: Haley told Chuk, Chuk confronted Angela, and eventually a full-blown blowup erupted in the gym when Haley twisted Angela’s words to claim Angela said Dee orchestrated the vote flip.

Angela spiraled. Dee came clean to Kamu about her role in the blindside (and revealed she won a power in the BB Time Capsule). LaLa had to physically lead Angela out of the gym in tears, then confronted Haley about how ugly the situation had gotten — saying in the diary room that it was sad that “a pretty girl is so mean and passive-aggressive with her friends.”

Then came the veto comp. The houseguests were sent to a 1977 disco floor where they had to memorize a tile pattern — step on a red tile and you start over. Kamu beat Chuk in the first round, Barrett beat Dee, and Haley beat LaLa. In the semifinals, Barrett eliminated Haley, setting up a Barrett vs. Kamu final. Kamu’s fancy footwork held up and he won the Power of Veto — his second memory comp victory this season.

Haley and Chuk assumed Kamu would save one of them. He didn’t. Kamu confirmed with LaLa immediately that the plan was to keep nominations the same. Haley and Chuk were left stunned and angry (again), with Chuk threatened World War Big Brother if he survives this week’s eviction vote.

What to expect on Big Brother tonight

The BB Blockbuster

Haley, Chuk and Barrett each get one final shot to save themselves before the live vote. Barrett is the pawn and should feel relatively comfortable, but both Haley and Chuk are competing for their lives.

Haley already lost to Barrett in the semifinal round of the veto comp, while Chuk lost to Kamu in the first round. But desperation is its own kind of fuel. If either Haley or Chuk wins the Blockbuster and takes themselves off, they’ll likely face the prospect of being alone in the house as the other is almost guaranteed to go home.

Haley’s reckoning

Haley has complained for weeks that she’s had a tough time in the house despite never being anywhere near the block before this week. Well now she knows what a bad week really is. She’s on the block with no veto, no allies willing to stick their neck out and a house full of people she either antagonized or condescended to.

LaLa said it plainly on Wednesday: she needs Haley out of this house. The HOH is praying Haley doesn’t win the BB Blockbuster. Haley’s only hope is winning the Blockbuster as nobody is going to campaign to keep her. Even Kamu, the man she saw as her closest ally, chose his own game over their alliance without a second thought.

Chuk is loyal to a fault

Chuk is on the block because of Haley. LaLa said it to his face — Haley is dragging him down — and he refused to hear it. Instead of creating distance after the blindside, Chuk doubled down. He and Haley were obsessed with finding out who thwarted the plan to evict Melody and even threw a pity party in the backyard after being nominated. He told LaLa she was “dazed and confused” and later said to camera that he was “disgusted” by her gameplay. He acted like the least active member of the Toolshed had been running things all along. LaLa put him up specifically to prevent him from winning the veto and saving Haley — that’s how fused the house sees them.

Kamu read the room and pivoted. Chuk didn’t. And now Chuk is paying for that stubbornness. If Haley goes Thursday, Chuk survives but walks into next week with no alliance, no allies and bridges burned with Angela, LaLa and Kamu. If Haley wins the Blockbuster and comes off, Chuk becomes the default target with nobody willing to campaign for him. Either way, his refusal to separate his game from Haley’s has put him in a position where survival this week doesn’t even guarantee a path forward.

Angela’s meltdown and its aftermath

Angela’s decision to come clean to Haley set off the most dramatic sequence of the season. She’s never been comfortable with deception the way Dee and Devens are and the guilt of lying about last week’s blindside vote ate at her until she cracked (after all, she did spend a week in the egg costume).

Haley was expectedly furious and Chuk dismissed her apology as “crocodile tears.” And then Haley weaponized Angela’s words in the gym, twisting them in a way which created a confrontation that left Angela in tears. Angela is still aligned with the Crossovers and the Icons, but will her emotional volatility become a liability?

Dee is running circles around this house

While Angela was melting down and the Red Corner was imploding, Dee quietly solidified her position as the best player in the house. She revealed the BB Bribe to both Devens and Kamu — strategically, on her own timeline — and used the information as a trust-building tool with Kamu rather than a weapon.

Kamu said the power reveal made the blindside “water under the bridge” and went a long way toward building trust. Dee now has the Crossovers, the Wolfpack, the Honor Society and a secret power that nobody else in the house knows about. She’s playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers. .

Kamu’s betrayal lands

Kamu told the diary room he’s ready to distance himself from the Red Corner, and not using the veto was the loudest possible statement he could make. Haley and Chuk were frustrated beyond belief and Chuk threatened World War Big Brother.

But here’s the thing — Kamu doesn’t need them anymore. He’s in the Wolfpack with Dee, Devens and Yash. He’s in the Tethers with Taylor and Devens. He convinced LaLa to put Chuk on the block instead of him. His game has entirely pivoted from Red Corner enforcer to free agent power player. The question is whether Haley or Chuk survives Thursday and comes after him, or whether this week puts a clean end to the Red Corner chapter entirely.

Barrett’s quiet survival

Barrett is on the block for the first time this season, but he’s in the safest possible position a nominee can be. He’s LaLa’s stated pawn, he’s in the Crossovers with the Icons, and he’s part of the new For The American People alliance with Drew, Melody and Mallory. The Toolshed hierarchy that kept him at the bottom is gone, and he jumped five spots in last week’s power rankings.

Barrett even beat Haley in the veto semifinals — a small but meaningful competitive showing after weeks of being perceived as passive. Unless something changes and we get another vote flip, Barrett should coast through Thursday’s vote without real danger.
