After a pretty tough week, marred by Haley’s HOHitis-inspired power trip, we got a couple of all-timer days on the Big Brother live feeds, concluding with a blindside in Thursday’s eviction vote and a shocking winner of the iconic Wall comp.
Here’s what you need to know from Thursday’s Big Brother live feeds.

Big Brother Season 28 Week 4 Results
Sunday’s episode began Week 4 of the summer-long competition, as a new Head of Household was crowned. The Toolshed once again grabbed power for the week, with Haley earning the HOH key.
Haley suffered a bit of HOHitis, with her “my way or the highway” ethos rubbing some people the wrong way. Taylor was able to capture the Power of Veto, forcing Haley to nominate a fourth houseguest for eviction, who turned out to be Lyric. And after Drew won the BB Blockbuster, a shocking blindside saw Lyric become the fourth evictee of Big Brother Season 28.
- Head of Household: Haley
- Power of Veto winner: Taylor
- Nominees: Drew, Melody and Lyric (Taylor taken off the block)
- Evicted this week: Lyric
- Remaining players: 13
- Next episode: Sunday, August 9 (Head of Household competition)

Pointing fingers
So the big news of the early portion of the day was Dee marshalling the forces necessary to blindside the Red Corner and evict Lyric in all circumstances. And in the aftermath of the live eviction vote, this was a BIG topic of conversation prior to the start of the Wall comp.
Kamu, Chuk and Haley were all gagged, as seen at the end of the live episode. In fact, it appears that Haley still thinks she had some measure of power, as she goes around interrogating people about what happened while reminding them that unless they heard it from her, the plan hadn’t changed. It appears she hasn’t been cured of her HOHitis yet.
Haley- I made it very clear to keep them both in the house is the worst possible plan for everybody. I made it very clear for the people if you don't hear it from me, it's the same #BB28 pic.twitter.com/aXz0jCubQL

Meanwhile, all three of the votes for Lyric — Kamu, Chuk and Yash — are on the verge of crashing out as elsewhere Dee and Taylor are having a good laugh. Chuk and Yash crash out, and all of a sudden suspicion is put onto Kamu of all people! Chuk thinks Kamu is too chill about it all, and Haley is suspicious of him too. In fact, Chuk and Yash are CERTAIN that Kamu is lying to them, and it hurts Chuk’s heart. Chuk continues to consistently have the worst instincts in this game.
In what has to be a best-case scenario for the Icons, somehow this blindside has the Red Corner not really questioning any of them, but rather looking at Kamu! The Red Corner Civil War is on! Kamu even tells Melody and Mallory that if he won HOH he would nominate Chuk, along with Dee and Angela. And Dee is laughing all the way to the bank about how easy it is to play the Red Corner.
Kamu and Chuk immediately turning on each other after their mutual showmance was evicted is like my favorite storyline ever #bb28 pic.twitter.com/fmp4jsvKQ3

The pièce de résistance? Throughout it all, and despite doing absolutely nothing to put it into motion, Melody gets the last laugh on Haley. And, of course, she has to “call” her mom.

Chef’s kiss, no notes. Or as the BB X feed posted, Absodrewt Cinema.
You want me on that wall, you need me on that wall
If that’s all we got, it would have been a great night. But then, we got icing on the cake in the form of the iconic Wall comp. And right off the bat, Angela is down lol.

In the end, this night of shockers concludes with perhaps the biggest shocker of all as LALA, yes LALA, wins the Wall comp at age 58, outlasting Kamu to earn the HOH key. Kudos to her, as she is right to be proud of what she accomplished.
LaTrice (58) wins The Wall Competition
Fall Order
1st: Angela
2nd: Taylor
3rd: Barrett
4th: Devens
5th: Dee
6th: Melody
7th: Mallory
8th: Chuk
9th: Yash
10th: Drew
Runner Up: Kamu

Kamu is in his feelings, and he’s right to be, as after celebrating for a moment with Taylor, LaLa says Kamu is one of her initial targets. She also plans on nominating Drew and Barrett, but she really wants to go after Devens. She thinks he is a fan favorite and he is just sliding by right now. Devens, shrewdly, approached Taylor after the HOH comp to ask her to put in a good word for him, which she does.
Taylor tells LaLa that she thinks Devens may have a power, and seemingly has convinced LaLa not to target Devens. But you know who else LaLa wants to take out? Haley, and man does she not like Haley. And this day just went from bad to worse for Haley, as it now looks as though LaLa is planning on backdooring the former collegiate softball player, who is already spiraling.
Lala: I really want to get Haley.
Taylor: You gonna make her the target?

So right now, it looks like the nominees will be Kamu, Drew and Barrett (as a pawn) with Haley as the backdoor target. LaLa doesn’t want the word getting out, so she asks Taylor to keep it quiet. All I know is, after a rough Thursday night, I would not want to be Haley as the other side of the house finally has some power.

Around the house roundup
Just to close the circle on Haley, getting blindsided to close out her HOH has her feeling a certain kind of way. But, she really wants me to believe that last week was her being nice?!?
Haley: I have been so nice. Haley is not this nice. And I feel like I just got burned by that HOH #bb28 pic.twitter.com/Dqgije8Z6H

I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or a trend at this point, but so far every evictee in Season 28 has been the renom and not an initial nominee.
For 4 weeks in a row the veto has been used and the renom has gone home. Not a single initial nominee has been evicted #bb28 pic.twitter.com/wtPpsZE19a

As I noted above, LaLa winning the Wall comp is a pretty big shock. It was so shocking that some people were questioning whether Kamu threw the comp, which seems unlikely. But amid all his bad reads, Drew was right about one thing at least.
Drew says Big Brother Twitter is going crazy for Lala winning the wall comp. For the record, we are #bb28 pic.twitter.com/OjxulnxuoB

And finally, if you hung on to watch the Wall comp you stayed up pretty late. It would be fair to wonder if you were suffering from sleep deprivation, but your eyes did not deceive you — that really was “Bigfoot” making a cameo during the Wall comp.
