Best Fantasy Golf One and Done Pick for the 2026 Travelers Championship

Tommy Fleetwood

Fleetwood was very close to winning the Travelers Championship last season. Following a 7-under 63 in the third round at TPC River Highlands, the Englishman was leading this event heading into the final round, but he faltered on Sunday with a 2-over 72, resulting in Fleetwood losing the Travelers by one shot to Keegan Bradley.

Fleetwood has finished inside the top-15 in 3-of-5 starts at TPC River Highlands and he has shot a 3-under 67 or better in seven of his past eight rounds at the par 70. Fleetwood ranks fifth in this field in strokes gained per round at TPC River Highlands and he should be out for revenge this week after letting the Travelers win slip through his fingers a year ago.

Fleetwood finally got the monkey off his back and claimed his first PGA TOUR win at the TOUR Championship just about two months after his near-win at TPC River Highlands, and nowadays, the 35-year-old is having another awesome season in 2026.

Fleetwood has only missed one cut in 13 starts and he has finished inside the top-15 eight times. Fleetwood has finished inside the top-eight at four Signature Events, which is the case again this week with the Travelers. Just last week at the U.S. Open, Fleetwood finished T-11 while gaining strokes in every major category at the challenging Shinnecock Hills in Southampton, New York, which is only about three hours south of TPC River Highlands.

Fleetwood is fond of competing in the Northeast, ranking fifth in this field in strokes gained per round at Northeast courses, and his love for this area was on full display at the Ryder Cup this past September. This event was played at the daunting Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, New York, and Fleetwood put on a show, leading the Ryder Cup in points scored.

Fleetwood should secure a big pay day at TPC River Highlands this week, possibly with his second PGA TOUR win, and he is a terrific pick for one and done pools. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Fleetwood carries the fourth-best odds to win the Travelers Championship at +1750.
