Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
SEPTEMBER 28: Deebo Samuel plans to play on Sunday vs. the Patriots, per NFL Insider Jordan Schultz. Now that Brock Purdy ($6,100) has his top target back, expect a return to form for the 49ers offense. Samuel ($7,000) isn’t a cheap DFS play, but he can do damage against a New England secondary giving up […]

After Thursday’s 20-15 win over the New York Giants, the Cowboys have evened their record to 2-2 and are one game behind the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders for the NFC East lead. It was an uninspiring win, though. The Giants controlled the game, running 14 more plays and held the ball for 11 minutes […]

With 3:30 left in the fourth quarter of Thursday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers tried to haul in a sideline pass on fourth down. He toe-tapped with a defender draped on his back but was unable to make the catch. As he fell, Nabers landed on the ball while […]

Fields has been just what the doctor ordered for the Steelers. He’s completed 73.3% of his passes, thrown only one interception in 75 pass attempts, been sacked only six times and has helped lead the team to a 3-0 record. What he’s been best known for throughout his career, though, has been the rushing prowess. […]

Sam Darnold checks all the boxes when it comes to thinking about quarterbacks. He has excellent size at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds. He is a four-star recruit in high school. Strong arm. Handsome. Productive college career. Selected with the third overall pick in the NFL draft. Unfortunately, his career did not develop the way many […]

Thursday night’s game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants has a total of 45 points, so touchdowns will likely be scored. But who will score the first one? On DK Sportsbook, CeeDee Lamb is currently the favorite at +450. It makes sense because Lamb leads the team in targets with 24. The […]

The tight end position has been a barren wasteland this season. Only three of the preseason top 10 drafted are in the top 10 for total PPR points scored through three weeks. Brock Bowers is the only tight end to have two weeks with double-digit PPR points! So the bar to being a viable fantasy […]

With around six minutes left in Week 3’s game against the Detroit Lions, Trey McBride caught a four-yard pass over the middle of the field and turned upfield for another five yards. Unfortunately, both he and the defender put their heads down at the time of impact, resulting in a helmet-to-helmet blow. McBride exited the […]

After being “blessed” with two AFC East matchups on Thursday night, we get a NFC East one for Week 4. East coast bias! Both teams are 1-2 entering this contest, with the only win coming against the Cleveland Browns. The Browns have one win on the season?! How is that possible? Oh, the Jacksonville Jaguars, […]

Week 4. Oh, what do the football gods have in store? Please, no more offensive snore, as all the talk of two-high shells is impossible to ignore and has become such a bore. I’d rather have my eyelids propped open while being shown an endless loop of Pauly Shore. But there’s nothing we can do […]

To open this 2024-25 season, Nailor has caught three touchdowns, one in each game. He is not going to finish with 17 touchdowns this season. Now that I’ve bursted bubbles, is he still a waiver wire pickup? Nailor is not the biggest player at 5-foot-11 and 186 pounds. He is not the fastest, as the […]
