UPDATE 9:53 p.m. ET: Alvarado has returned to the game.
Grand Theft Alvarado has been very good filling in for Dejounte Murray, starting the last six games and averaging 17.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.7 steals in 33.3 minutes per game.
On Monday, though, he went into the locker room during the third quarter of the game against the Nets. There’s been no mention as to the type of injury or severity of it.
Prior to exiting, Alvarado contributed three points and a steal in 16 minutes.
