DeRozan had started and played in all 11 games so far with the Sacramento Kings, averaging a whopping 38.2 minutes per contest.,

On Wednesday, though, he was only able to play 17 minutes due to back tightness. There’s been no mention of when the injury occurred or the severity of it.

Keon Ellis started the second half for DeRozan.

Prior to exiting, DeRozan contributed two points, five rebounds, three assists, a steal and two blocks.
