Prior to that, he was the former sports editor for the Harvard Crimson, where he covered the football team for two years and earned four Story of the Year nominations from the Associated College Press. In 2024, Phoenix Suns governor Mat Ishbia controversially claimed that “26 of them [general managers] would trade their whole team for our whole team and our draft picks and everything as is” after his team was swept out of the NBA playoffs. Now, with Kevin Durant off the roster and a win total of just […]

In any given season, most teams are either trying to compete for a championship or tanking to maximize their lottery odds. It seems like the Sacramento Kings, who have played in the NBA Play-In Tournament in each of the past two seasons, are doing neither. This season, the Kings are projected to be around the […]

Normally, the NBA likes to pit the first and second overall picks against each other in the first game of NBA Summer League. However, with Cooper Flagg’s Dallas Mavericks set to take on Bronny James and the Los Angeles Lakers, Dylan Harper’s San Antonio Spurs will meet VJ Edgecombe and the Philadelphia 76ers instead. The […]

It seems like not too long ago that Cooper Flagg walked across the stage at Barclays Center, shook Adam Silver’s hand, and became the newest member of the Dallas Mavericks. Nico Harrison’s vision is starting to crystallize. Gone is Luka Dončić. In are Anthony Davis, D’Angelo Russell, and Cooper Flagg. In theory, the defense and length on the Dallas Mavericks’ roster is staggering. But the Western Conference is stacked; last season, the Mavericks finished 10th in the Western Conference before winning the 9-10 Play-In Tournament […]

Two of the faces of the WNBA will meet tonight, when Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky host Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings. Neither team is great: Dallas is just 6-14 and Chicago 5-13, and both teams are +1000 or worse to make the postseason at DraftKings Sportsbook. The game tips off at 8 […]

Do we suddenly have a race for the NL West? The Los Angeles Dodgers have lost five straight games, and their lead atop the division has been cut to five games over the streaking San Francisco Giants. San Francisco has won four straight and secured a series victory over the NL East-leading Philadelphia Phillies last […]
