Garion is a Toronto-based writer who has been playing fantasy sports since elementary school. With a particular affinity for advanced statistics and sabermetrics, he’s been covering DFS Baseball, Football and Basketball for DraftKings dating back to 2018. Prior to that, Garion’s work could be found at FNTSY, SportsGrid, HoopsHype, The New York Daily News and Sportsnet.ca. Still, he is a Dolphins fan, so his decision-making can be questioned from time-to-time.
There’s roughly five weeks left in the NBA’s regular season and, as per usual, they are going to be an absolute disaster. Teams are in the process of resting players for the playoffs and resting players to tank, which makes projecting rotations a little difficult. Still, there’s certainly going to be opportunities to find value […]

It’s your classic battle of the big markets on Thursday night, as the Lakers welcome the Knicks to Los Angeles. The Lakers enter this tilt as maybe the NBA’s hottest team. Not only are they winners of seven straight games, but the team also owns the league’s best defensive rating across it’s last 15 contests […]

Is this the deepest pool of shortstop talent the league has ever seen? Unclear. I’m only 33-years-old and, shockingly, I don’t have that many takes about MLB in the 1970s and 1980s. Still, it really does feel like there’s unlimited potential at this position, with a solid mix of young phenoms and sturdy veterans. Drafting […]

On Tuesday night, 14 of the best and brightest fantasy baseball writers in the world gathered for the annual Tout Wars Mixed League Draft. I was also there, for reasons I can not comprehend. Across 29 rounds and three hours, 435 players were selected in this 15-team, two catcher format. Below, I’ll break down some […]

It’s unclear if anyone in the Eastern Conference actually wants the 10-seed, but that’s where the Bulls currently reside with about 20 games left in the regular season. Heck, Thursday could be a potential Play-In preview, as Chicago will travel to Orlando to take on the reeling Magic. Who will be available to play in […]

When I say there are so many injuries to monitor in the NBA tonight — I mean it. Like, I really mean it. Heck, the Celtics, Jazz and Heat alone have enough ailments to fill an entire hospital wing, let alone the other 11 teams that are included in Wednesday’s seven-game featured slate on DraftKings. […]

Fair warning: This slate is a mess. There’s only seven games in DraftKings’ featured fantasy basketball contests tonight, yet it feels like there’s 1,000 injuries and more than a handful of teams either starting of finishing a back-to-back set. I guess it’s just March in the NBA. The only good news to come out of […]

UPDATE: Jokic has been cleared to play. Nikola Jokic has been incredible durable this season. In fact, the former MVP has only missed six games in 2024-25, the most recent of which being all the way back on January 15. Well, there’s a chance that the big man will add to that total on Wednesday, […]

Steph Curry rolled his right ankle in Monday’s victory against the Hornets. Following the game, the All-Star stated “I think I’m going to play, but if my ankle says I shouldn’t play, I won’t play.” It was a vague quote at the time and one that isn’t much clearer now that we have an official […]

This is a busy night in the NBA, people. While most of us are used to a small schedule on Tuesdays, that is certainly not the case this evening. There’s nine games in the Association and seven of them are included in DraftKings’ featured DFS slate. Let’s break down everything you’ll need to know to […]
