Garion is a Toronto-based writer who has been playing fantasy sports since elementary school. With a particular affinity for advanced statistics and sabermetrics, he’s been covering DFS Baseball, Football and Basketball for DraftKings dating back to 2018. Prior to that, Garion’s work could be found at FNTSY, SportsGrid, HoopsHype, The New York Daily News and Sportsnet.ca. Still, he is a Dolphins fan, so his decision-making can be questioned from time-to-time.
We all know that the NBA isn’t at the forefront of everyone’s mind at the moment. It’s certainly a different kind of March Madness, as the madness in question is mostly just due to rest and injury woes. Yet, here we are. Still getting ready to take down a five-game featured slate on DraftKings. Let’s […]

This is one of the more odd NBA slates I can remember in 2024-25 from a timing perspective. The DraftKings main slate this evening is five games and it starts at 7:00 p.m. ET, as contests tipoff in Charlotte and Indiana. However, the next game doesn’t start till 10:00 p.m. ET, with a trio of […]

UPDATE: Haliburton has been ruled out. Tyrese Haliburton has missed the Pacers’ past two games due to a back issue, but there’s a chance that the former All-Star will return on Thursday. Haliburton has been listed as questionable for this evening’s tilt against the Nets. With the point guard missing during Wednesday’s narrow victory over […]

I know. I know. The term “sleeper” has been overused the past decade. So much so, that’s it’s sort of difficult to even know what a sleeper actually is anymore. With that in mind, let’s set some ground rules. In this article, I will only be advocating for players who are betting taken (on average) […]

Monday brings us a huge 10-game featured NBA on DraftKings. More games means more problems — injury problems. That’s especially true with seven different teams on the second leg of a back-to-back set and a few more actively tanking for draft position in the season’s final few weeks. In short, it’s a mess. However, I’m […]

By this point in the NBA season, a DFS value article has essentially turned into a list of players suiting up for teams that are actively trying to tank. Tonight will be no different. Not only are the Raptors, Jazz, 76ers, Pelicans and Wizards all taking the court during Monday’s 10-game DraftKings featured slate, but […]

Here’s a sentence you never like to see three weeks out from Opening Day. Though we do not currently have a timeline on George Kirby’s expected absence, a pitcher being shut down at this point in Spring Training is a massive red flag. The right-hander will almost assuredly begin the regular season on the IL. […]

There are 16 teams participating in tonight’s eight-game NBA featured slate on DraftKings, yet not all squads are like the others. You’ll need to focus on the Jazz, Raptors, Thunder and Mavericks this evening, as all four teams are going to be almost unrecognizable due to tanking and injury. On top of that, there’s about […]
