The NBA regular season carries on this evening with an eight-game featured slate on DraftKings.
As per usual, there’s a huge collection of star talent set to take the floor. However, to afford those players in your lineups, you’ll have to find value elsewhere. That’s where I come in. Let’s dive in and find some bargains.

SG/SF Pelle Larsson, Miami Heat at Boston Celtics, $4,300
The Heat are currently dealing with some injuries on the wing, as Andrew Wiggins (hamstring), Duncan Robinson (back) and Nikola Jovic (hand) all remain sidelined on Wednesday. That should create the opportunity for Larsson to start his third straight contest. I mean, why not? The last two have gone quite well. Granted, the level of competition will take a large step up this evening in Boston. Larsson’s averaged 14.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 36.1 FPTS over this two-game span, but the opponents have been the actively tanking 76ers and Wizards. Still, at this modest price point, Larsson has a great chance to be viable if he once again sees around 30 minutes of action. I’ll take the risk and invest in the Swedish rookie.
SF/PF Harrison Barnes, San Antonio Spurs at Denver Nuggets, $3,600
For as one-dimensional a fantasy asset as Barnes can be, this salary feels low, right? Heck, Barnes carried a price tag above $5,000 as recently as mid-February. What gives? Either way, I’ll happily take the savings. With Jeremy Sochan ($5,300; back) a late scratch on Tuesday, Barnes shouldered some extra offensive burden in the Spurs’ 116-105 loss to the Magic. In fact, Barnes led all San Antonio players in points (24) and field goal attempts (14), all while in possession of a 26.7% usage rate that sat second to only Stephon Castle ($6,900). Barnes hasn’t been the most consistent DFS piece in 2024-25, yet he has managed over 20 FPTS in three of his last four starts. He’s someone to consider for your player pool on Wednesday — especially if Sochan is ruled out again.
SG/SF Tim Hardaway Jr., Detroit Pistons at Oklahoma City Thunder, $4,300
The Pistons are going to be pretty shorthanded on Wednesday. Not only is Cade Cunningham ($10,300; calf) listed as doubtful and expected to miss his fifth consecutive contest, but Marcus Sasser, Ron Holland and Isaiah Stewart are all suspended. Yikes. That could lead to expanded roles for deep bench pieces like Simone Fontecchio ($3,300) and Lindy Waters III ($3,000), yet those feel like very high-risk, low-reward DFS options. Instead, I’ll just lean on Hardaway, who has been red-hot his past two games. Hardaway dropped 32 points and seven threes against the Cavaliers last week, then followed that performance up with 20 points versus the Timberwolves on Sunday. Detroit is going to need his scoring tonight if they have a chance to keep this tilt close.
