The BB Bribe is finally about to run out of rope.
Yash won HOH but couldn’t touch Dee or Devens, so he nominated Drew, Melody and Barrett. Drew is the target and everyone in the house knows it. His only lifeline is Wednesday’s veto competition, and it happens to be one of the most grueling in Big Brother history: the Pressure Cooker.
Here’s everything to know about tonight’s episode, including the air time, how to watch and what to expect heading into Thursday’s two-hour double eviction.
What happened last time on Big Brother Season 28?
Yash won the HOH competition in a timed “Wild West”-themed cactus-water challenge where he posted the fastest time at 11:33, nearly 30 seconds ahead of Taylor. The BB Bribe immediately handcuffed his reign — Dee and Devens were off-limits as nominees, leaving Drew, Melody, Barrett and Taylor as his only options. Yash nominated all three remaining FAP members: Drew, Melody and Barrett.
The fallout from Barrett’s failed HOH dominated Sunday’s episode. Dee and Devens confirmed to each other they’re all-in on Yash and Taylor — no room for Drew. Dee is raging inside about Drew voting to evict her, despite smiling to his face. Drew’s season-long loyalty to the Icons earned him nothing. Devens and Dee don’t trust him. Yash despises him. And Yash has been running a misinformation campaign that’s working — he told Barrett and Melody that his vote to save Dee was because of Drew, claiming Drew had been targeting Yash to the Icons. And Barrett and Melody somehow seem to be buying it.
Yash laid out his plan to Melody: get Drew out this week, then with the Bribe off his back, go back to targeting the Icons. Whether that’s true is another question entirely.
The replacement nominee situation is where Yash’s hands are tied tightest. If a nominee wins the Pressure Cooker veto, his only eligible replacement is Taylor — his own No. 1 ally. Yash considered nominating Taylor from the start to give her a shot at winning the veto herself, but ultimately stuck with the straightforward FAP block.

What to expect on Big Brother tonight
The Pressure Cooker
Wednesday’s veto competition is the Pressure Cooker — one of the most legendary and grueling competitions in Big Brother history. It’s an endurance test that pushes houseguests to their physical and mental limits, and for three nominees facing a double eviction week, the stakes couldn’t be higher.
Drew needs this veto more than anyone. He’s Yash’s target. Dee wants him gone. Devens has moved on from him. Barrett and Melody are being poisoned against him. Winning the Pressure Cooker would force Yash into a nightmare scenario — nominating Taylor, his own No. 1 ally, as the replacement.
Barrett and Melody are also competing for their lives. Barrett is the backup target if Drew somehow survives, and Melody knows she’s collateral damage in a week where Yash’s hands are tied. Neither can afford to sit back and hope someone else saves them — especially with a double eviction coming Thursday where the entire game can flip in minutes.
Drew’s last stand
Drew told the diary room he knows no one is going to save him but him. He’s right. Every significant relationship he built this season has either turned against him or been rendered useless.
The Icons (Dee and Devens) are done with him despite his season-long loyalty. Dee reads every gesture of goodwill from Drew as evidence of disloyalty — a dynamic our power rankings called a lost cause on both sides. Devens has moved on entirely, telling Dee they’re all-in with Yash and Taylor. Barrett and Melody, Drew’s FAP allies, are being fed Yash’s lie that Drew was the reason the Icons got saved — and they seem to be buying it. Melody, the person Drew considers his best friend in the house, is being turned against him in real time.
Drew admitted he doesn’t trust anyone at this point. If he loses the Pressure Cooker, he’s almost certainly the one walking out the door Thursday. If he wins, the ripple effects could be enormous, as Taylor would have to go on the block.
The replacement nominee trap
This is the detail that could blow up Yash’s week. If Drew, Melody or Barrett come off the block, Yash’s only eligible replacement nominee is Taylor. The BB Bribe protects Dee and Devens. There is literally no one else.
Yash considered this problem before nominations and thought about putting Taylor up from the start so she could compete for the veto. He didn’t, which means if a nominee is saved, Taylor goes up without ever having had a chance to fight for safety. Yash said he and Taylor believe Dee and Devens wouldn’t vote to evict her given their new alliance — but trusting two Survivor veterans who have shown all season they’ll do whatever it takes to survive is a calculated risk at best.
If Taylor ends up on the block and something goes sideways in the vote, Yash’s decision to accept the BB Bribe could go from a questionable move to a season-defining disaster.
The double eviction shadow
Thursday’s two-hour double eviction hangs over everything. Whoever survives Wednesday’s veto still has to navigate a compressed second eviction where an entire HOH-nomination-veto-vote cycle plays out in minutes. There’s no time to campaign, no time to strategize, no time to run a misinformation campaign.
Dee and Devens are guaranteed to survive the first eviction thanks to the BB Bribe. But the second eviction is open season — Yash’s deal expires after this week, and whoever wins that second HOH can nominate anyone. If Drew goes home in the first eviction, the second round becomes a question of whether the Yash-Taylor-Dee-Devens alliance holds or whether the Survivor vets take their first shot at the newbies who just handed them a lifeline.
