Big Brother Live Feed Spoilers: Monday Recap from Season 28 Week 10

With a double eviction looming on Thursday, some Big Brother houseguests are making moves, while others are making themselves scarce.

Big Brother Season 28 Week 10 Results

Sunday’s episode began Week 10 with Yash outlasting the field to become the new Head of Household.

This was very interesting thanks to the BB Bribe that is still constraining Yash. As a result of accepting the $5K bribe from Dee earlier in the season, Yash could not nominate Dee or Devens. That left only Drew, Melody, Barrett and Taylor as options for nomination and guaranteed that Dee and Devens will survive at least the first eviction in Thursday’s double eviction episode.

It also limited what Yash can do in the case of a replacement nominee. If one of the nominees won the Pressure Cooker veto — or another player won and used it — Yash’s only eligible replacement nominee would be his No. 1 ally, Taylor. Of course, this is what happened as Drew won the Veto comp. It isn’t that straight forward, however, as Drew made a secret deal with Yash, promising not to target him and to vote to protect Taylor on Thursday.

Who will be the first houseguest to go home in Thursday’s double eviction? And now that Yash is freed from the BB Bribe, will he pivot back to targeting the Icons or will he continue to work with them? We’ll all find out together.

Making plans

So in the aftermath of Drew making a deal with Yash during the Pressure Cooker competition, the 22-year-old did the expected — despite Melody’s best efforts — and took himself off the block. And we all knew what that would mean, as thanks to the BB Bribe, Taylor was Yash’s only option as a replacement nominee. It’s less than ideal that Yash had to nominate his No. 1 ally, but the good news is at least he’s done with the BB Bribe before the game gets any further.

It’s noteworthy that despite their mutual hatred, both Yash and Drew have held to the terms of their secret deal. They even got together later in the night on Monday to celebrate the fact that everyone misread their conversation during the Pressure Cooker and have no idea that they’re currently working together (sort of).

I say sort of above, because I don’t really believe that this deal will hold. Yash did nothing to dissuade Taylor from talking about how she wants to take a shot at Drew in the event of a double eviction, and Drew began working Devens, comparing Yash to Jag and trying to make the wheels turn in Devens head about targeting Yash.

Drew has already gone to work to talk to Devens about taking the shot at Yash during the double, that would be their shot to do it #BB28

That pitch seemed to get Devens thinking, as later he and Dee discussed the idea that the double eviction might be their time to take a shot at Yash despite just forming an alliance with him and Taylor.

Devens and Dee both would love to see two comp threats go home on Thursday, with Devens saying there are no more shields and it’s time for them to get rid of people who can win. We’re inching closer and closer to the endgame of Big Brother Season 28, and the Icons know it.

Barrett’s down bad

While all of this was going on, Barrett was going through it.

It’s been a rough stretch for the scoreboard operator. He’s lost Mallory, had a disastrous HOH, has become more and more isolated in the house and now finds himself on the block and fighting for his life on Thursday. And when it rains, it pours, as production seems to have lost his clothes.

Barrett once again spent the day isolated from the other houseguests, with the clip accounts on X noting that once again he was talking directly to cams more than he was actual humans. But at least Skippy had some fun with it all despite Barrett spiralling.

Despite complaining that Devens has somehow been given two immunity idols in a game where there are none, it’s Devens who attempts to pull Barrett out of his black hole. It’s moments like this which remind me why people love Devens so much, despite being turned off by some of his behavior on the block last week. Devens is at his dad-best here, assuring Barrett that Big Brother dictates making moves and that when this is all over, everyone will be cool with Barrett. Good on Devens for reaching out and comforting Barrett, even if on a game-level Devens is targeting him.

Around the house roundup

Besides counseling Barrett, Devens had another dad moment on Monday which has since gone viral on these internet streets.

At one point earlier in this season it was a running joke in the house about how Yash didn’t work at all with women. He even spoke during his first HOH reign about how he wanted to make sure no Bros went home. Which makes it nice to see the growing friendship he has developed with Taylor. I think it’s been incredibly helpful for both on a game and personal level.

And finally, as per usual Drew and Melody spent most of the night together doing what they do. That means getting as close to kissing as you can without actually doing it, staring into each other’s eyes deep into the night and even doing tumbles. But seeing them make pasta together, could they be destined for another reality show together?
