UPDATE 11:19 p.m. ET: Steve Kerr said that it’s a mild sprain and that Curry will get an MRI tonight.
With a shade under three minutes left in the third quarter of Sunday night’s game vs. the Los Angeles Clippers, Stephen Curry tried to make a hard cut to utilize a Kevon Looney screen right above the three-point line. Unfortunately, his left ankle buckled as he tried to change direction.
Then with a tick under eight minutes left in the fourth quarter, Curry tried to set a baseline screen then pop to the corner. He twisted the same left ankle that he tweaked in the third quarter. He limped around a bit before finally making his way to the locker room.
Prior to exiting, Curry put up 18 points, four rebounds, six assists, two steals, a block and four treys in 27 minutes.
