To put a bow on Week 7 of the NFL season, two NFC East foes meet on Monday Night Football in the City of Brotherly Love. The Philadelphia Eagles will be missing several key offensive pieces as they welcome the Dallas Cowboys, who have lost back-to-back primetime games in the last two weeks. To add even more spice to the division rivalry, DraftKings Sportsbook is offering another King of the End Zone promotion with a massive haul of bonus bets.
This week’s King of the End Zone promo will award a massive $2 million in bonus bets. If you opt in, you get a token to place a single bet of at least $5 on a player in a touchdown market; if he scores the longest touchdown of the night, you win a share of the $2 million in bonus bets. So far this season, Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Bills WR Josh Palmer, Bears WR Kalif Raymond, Falcons RB Bijan Robinson, Bills RB James Cook III, and 49ers TE George Kittle have claimed King of the End Zone honors and earned substantial Bonus Bets for their backers.
Earlier on Monday, I ran down some of my top plays for Week 7’s Monday Night Football edition of DraftKings King of the End Zone. In this post, we’ll look at three longshot plays that could pay out big if they win.
King of the End Zone — What You Need to Know

The promotion rules are pretty simple. After opting in, bettors will receive a token to place on a single bet with a $5 minimum in the “TD Scorer” market. If the player with the token scores the game’s longest touchdown, you will win a share of $2 million in bonus bets. The fewer people who select that player, the larger the payout, so balance the pick’s popularity with its likelihood of hitting. A longer shot could land a massive payout, while a more obvious choice is more likely to win, even if the bonus bet payout is smaller.
Passing touchdowns are ineligible for this promotion, so if you want to pick Tanner McKee, for example, he’ll have to run it in himself for the longest score. Although D/ST isn’t an individual player, they can become King of the End Zone if the longest touchdown comes on a defensive or special teams play.
King of the End Zone Long Shot Picks for Monday, Oct. 26
When making King of the End Zone picks, consider players likely to score a touchdown and the game’s longest touchdown. In these picks, I’m looking for an option that could break a long score but isn’t a popular play. They don’t have the highest likelihood of hitting, but if they do, the bonus-bet payout would be huge.
These three picks are my favorite longshot plays with the potential to score a long touchdown, and they’re off the radar enough to be less popular.
1. George Pickens Anytime Touchdown (+170)
George Pickens likely won’t be as popular as his teammate CeeDee Lamb or Philadelphia’s Saquon Barkley. But as the Cowboys’ second receiver, he brings big-play potential. He scored his first touchdown of the season in Week 5 against the Buccaneers on this 18-yard catch.
Last year, in his first season with the Cowboys, Pickens caught nine regular-season touchdowns. Four of them were from over 33 yards away. He caught a one-yard score against the Eagles last November, in a game where he finished with nine catches for 146 yards.
While he hasn’t gotten as much attention as Lamb, he still has double-digit targets in three of his last four games. He has an 11.2 aDOT (average depth of target), the team’s highest and significantly higher than Lamb’s 9.8. As the team’s home-run hitter, Pickens could deliver the long touchdown needed to win the King of the End Zone crown this Monday.
2. Makai Lemon Anytime Touchdown (+310)
The Eagles won’t have top wide receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and second receiver Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) available for Monday Night Football, leaving Darius Cooper and Makai Lemon as the team’s top two wide receivers. While Cooper has four touchdowns already this season, Lemon has gotten much more attention overall, especially from replacement QB Tanner McKee last week. McKee only targeted Cooper twice, while targeting Lemon six times.
Lemon’s six targets were the second-most of any Eagles wide receiver last week, behind only Smith. He caught three for 19 yards, his fourth straight game with 3+ receptions. Lemon hasn’t found the end zone yet, but he has a good chance to get his first career touchdown as he takes over as WR1.
Lemon scored 11 touchdowns as a junior at USC last year, and the Eagles used a first-round pick on him in the NFL Draft for a reason. While he has started slowly, they’ll likely prioritize getting him on track in Monday’s matchup against Dallas. With a strong target share and big-play potential, he could be Monday’s King of the End Zone.
3. Marquise Brown Anytime Touchdown (+900)
Don’t worry if you didn’t realize Brown was on the Eagles; that just shows how long a shot this pick is. Brown has appeared in only one game this season and hasn’t seen a single target. In Week 2, he was limited to two carries for 12 yards.
Brown missed the next three weeks with an ankle injury before being a healthy scratch in Week 6. However, without Wicks and Smith, he could climb the depth chart enough to make an impact. The Eagles could use Monday’s matchup to showcase his value ahead of the trade deadline, and teams could be interested in adding the veteran, according to this report last week from Jordan Schultz:
Brown is definitely a long shot to score a touchdown, but he has shown the potential and ability to post long scores. He had five touchdowns with the Chiefs just last season. If he’s active and involved, he offers upside as a longshot play for King of the End Zone. And if he hits, he could deliver massive bonus-bet payouts.
