An Icon is going home. Yash won the Power of Veto in BB Comics and left all three nominees — Dee, Devens and Angela — on the block. One of them will save themselves in the BB Blockbuster. The other two face a house that has formed a newbie ceasefire to eliminate them one by one.
The only real suspense Thursday is which Icon survives, which one goes to jury, and whether the threats they’ve been making all week land or backfire.
Here’s everything to know about tonight’s episode, including the air time, how to watch and what to expect from the most consequential live eviction of Big Brother Season 28.
What happened last time on Big Brother Season 28?
Yash won BB Comics with a time of 13:46, beating Devens by 26 seconds and Dee by over three minutes. He chose not to use the Power of Veto, locking all three Icons on the block for Thursday.
The veto draw and selections deepened the fractures inside the house. Barrett’s chip was drawn and he had to choose someone to play — he’d promised both Drew and Yash. He picked Yash, which infuriated Drew. Angela’s chip was drawn next and she chose Taylor over Drew, thinking Taylor would be easier to beat. Drew felt overlooked by two of his allies in the same ceremony and told the diary room he doesn’t trust anyone and doesn’t even like anyone at this point.
The Icons spent the week threatening Barrett. Angela promised he’d pay. Dee got in his face at the veto ceremony and said in the diary room that if she stays, the game is just starting for her. Devens promised to target Barrett and his allies. Barrett compared their behavior to spoiled children whose allowance was taken away.
Behind the scenes, the newbies formed a ceasefire. Barrett, Drew, Melody, Yash and Taylor agreed to target the Icons until all three are gone. Melody called it her ideal Final Five. But Drew doesn’t believe it will hold — Yash can’t nominate Icons because of the BB Bribe, and Drew knows Yash is coming for him the first chance he gets. Yash confirmed exactly that in the diary room.
Devens threw a Hail Mary, trying to convince Yash to use the veto on him by arguing Yash can’t trust the Barrett-Drew-Melody trio. The pitch didn’t land. Devens also extracted one silver lining from the week — getting Barrett to admit that Taylor would have been the replacement nominee if an Icon had won the veto.

What to expect on Big Brother tonight
The BB Blockbuster
Dee, Devens and Angela each get one final shot at survival. The winner comes off the block, and the remaining two face the vote. Angela has said she won the Blockbuster once this season and she’ll do it again. Devens won it last week to save himself from his self-inflicted pawn disaster. Dee hasn’t won one this season but has been a consistent competitor all summer — she nearly won the HOH that Barrett took that put all of this week’s drama into motion.
Who wins the Blockbuster determines everything. If Dee saves herself, Devens and Angela stay on the block — two allies who began the week fighting and calling each other names but have appeared to come back together as the week has progressed. If Devens saves himself, Dee and Angela remain, and the house votes between the two women who’ve been the emotional core of the Icons’ resistance. If Angela saves herself, the two Survivor veterans sit next to each other, and the house gets to choose between the season’s most dominant strategic duo.
The question isn’t whether an Icon goes home. It’s which one.
Drew’s impossible week
Drew has had the worst week of anyone not on the block. Barrett chose Yash over him for the veto. Angela chose Taylor over him for the veto. Two of his allies both broke promises to his face, and he sat in the backyard and told the diary room he doesn’t trust or like anyone in the house.
Drew told Devens he has his vote. He also joined the newbie ceasefire that’s designed to send Icons home. Those two commitments are incompatible. If Devens stays on the block, Drew has to choose — honor his word to the ally who’s been with him since Week 1 (even if that ally has questioned his loyalty almost the entire time), or stick with the ceasefire and vote Devens out.
Even if Drew votes to save Devens, it won’t matter — the other three newbies have the numbers. But his vote will be visible. Voting against the ceasefire exposes him to Yash, who already doesn’t respect his game and is openly planning to target him. Voting with the ceasefire burns his last bridge to the Icons.
The Icons’ threats — strategy or self-sabotage?
All three Icons have promised to come for Barrett if they survive. Dee got in his face. Angela said she’d make him pay. Devens swore he’d target Barrett and his allies. At the Veto ceremony, all three used their speeches to threaten the HOH rather than campaign to stay.
This is a risky approach. The five newbies control the vote. Threats might motivate the house to make sure the most dangerous Icon goes home rather than the easiest one. If Dee stays and makes good on her promise to be more ruthless than ever, she should become the consensus target for the next Icon eviction. If Devens stays and follows through on blowing up Barrett’s game, the ceasefire should tighten. Angela threatening Barrett while asking for his allies’ votes is a contradiction the house can see clearly.
The Icons have spent all season as the hunters. Being hunted has brought out attempts at intimidation instead of persuasion, and in a house where the numbers have finally turned against them, intimidation seems like it should be a losing strategy. But in this game, you never know.
What the Blockbuster winner means for the rest of the game
If Angela wins: Dee and Devens face the vote together. The house likely targets Devens — he’s the stronger strategic threat, the one Barrett identified as the most dangerous in his path to the end, and the player Dee herself was getting paranoid about before the nominations. Losing Devens would strip Dee of her most important strategic partner but free her from the tension that’s been building between them for weeks and allow her to play an even more selfish game.
If Devens wins: Dee and Angela face the vote. Dee is the bigger target — she’s won an HOH, nearly won another, and has been ranked near the top of the power rankings all season. But Angela has been the emotional lightning rod this week, swearing on her grandchildren that Yash is lying and confronting Barrett about his broken commitments.
If Dee wins: Devens and Angela face the vote. Given their backyard blowup and the fact that Devens is widely seen as the more dangerous player, Devens is likely the target — unless the house decides Angela’s emotional unpredictability makes her a bigger problem going forward.
