Drew and Yash made a deal. Nobody knows about it — not Taylor, not the Icons, not Barrett, not Melody. After 13 hours in the Pressure Cooker, the two biggest enemies in the house came together for a secret agreement that could reshape the entire endgame of Big Brother Season 28.
Drew won the veto. Taylor went on the block. And now, heading into a two-hour double eviction, two houseguests are going to jury in a single night — with alliances, loyalties and a hidden deal all about to collide.

What happened last time on Big Brother Season 28?
The Pressure Cooker lived up to its reputation. Six houseguests endured over 13 hours of physical and mental punishment, with Dee dropping first and Melody following at the six-hour mark. Devens went next after getting too cute with a crouch. Barrett hung on as long as he could but eventually faltered as a Have-Not running on empty.
That left Yash and Drew — Big Brother‘s grudge match of the century. Yash had been clear all episode: he hates Drew, wants Drew out, and called him a slimeball. But at 13 hours, with his body failing, Yash made a deal. Drew promised on his sister Natalie’s life that he wouldn’t target Yash as a nominee or a renom. He promised to vote how Yash wants on Thursday — specifically to protect Taylor. Yash dropped at 13 hours, 6 minutes and 21 seconds.
Drew used the veto on himself. Yash’s only replacement option was Taylor, thanks to the BB Bribe still protecting Dee and Devens. The final nominees for Thursday’s first eviction: Melody, Barrett and Taylor.
The deal is secret. Yash didn’t even tell Taylor. Drew didn’t tell the Icons. Both are maintaining the appearance that they’re still mortal enemies. Drew picked Melody, Barrett and Devens to watch a movie screening — a deliberate choice to keep up the illusion that he and Yash are on opposite sides. As Drew put it, running to the Icons with information hasn’t worked all season, so for once, he’s keeping his mouth shut.

What to expect on Big Brother tonight
The first eviction: Barrett or Melody?
Melody, Barrett and Taylor are on the block. One saves themselves in the BB Blockbuster. The other two face the vote. Drew, Dee, Devens and the Blockbuster winner are the four voters, with Yash breaking ties as HOH.
Taylor appears safe in virtually every scenario. Drew agreed to protect her as part of his deal with Yash. Dee and Devens are allied with Yash and Taylor. That means the first eviction is really between Barrett and Melody — and the Blockbuster likely determines which one goes home.
If Barrett wins the Blockbuster and comes off, Melody faces Taylor. Drew’s deal says protect Taylor. Dee and Devens protect their ally. Melody goes home. If Melody wins, Barrett faces Taylor with the same math working against him. If Taylor wins, Barrett and Melody are on the block together and the house picks between them — with Dee and Devens carrying a grudge against Barrett after being on the block during his HOH.
With Drew safe, Barrett is Yash’s new target and the Icons’ revenge target. Melody tried to talk Dre into using the veto on her. but Drew stood for 13 hours to earn that veto. He’s not using it on himself!
It didn’t help Melody’s case that Devens added another layer by telling Drew that Melody wasn’t excited when he won. Fatherly advice with a strategic motive — driving a wedge between Drew and the person he’s been closest to in the house. It’s working. Drew admitted he has mixed feelings about Melody rooting against him and privately considered whether it might be better for his game if she went home.
Drew and Yash’s secret deal
The most unlikely alliance in Big Brother Season 28 was forged at the 13-hour mark of the Pressure Cooker. In exchange for Yash throwing the Veto comp, Drew swore on his sister Natalie’s life that he wouldn’t target Yash and would vote to protect Taylor. Yash didn’t feel good throwing a comp, but ultimately the deal was too good for him to pass up.
Nobody knows. Yash told the house Drew tried to make a deal but didn’t admit he took it. He’s still trashing Drew to the other houseguests to maintain cover. Drew is keeping quiet for the first time all season, recognizing that running to the Icons with information has never worked for him.
The deal’s implications extend well beyond Thursday. If it holds, Drew can’t nominate Yash or name him as a replacement in his next HOH. If they really begin to work together Yash gains a vote he can count on and a competitor who’s been proving himself in clutch moments (the Pressure Cooker win is Drew’s most impressive individual performance of the season). Drew gains protection from the biggest comp threat in the house and a potential path forward that doesn’t rely on the Icons who’ve never trusted him.
Whether either of them actually honors it is another question. Drew admitted in the diary room he was saying whatever it takes to stay in the house. Yash has been one of the most prolific liars of the season and has exhibited a deep hatred of Drew for weeks. Secret deals in Big Brother tend to survive exactly as long as they’re useful.
The second eviction: open season
After the first eviction vote, the game resets entirely. A new HOH competition. New nominations. A veto. Another vote. All compressed into the back half of a two-hour episode. No time to campaign. No time to scheme. No time for Dee to work her persuasion magic or Yash to run his misinformation machine.
Yash can’t compete for the second HOH. And despite recently forming an alliance, Dee has already told Devens she wants to target Yash in the next round. She doesn’t want to go to the end with a strong competitor, and she sees the expiration of the Bribe as her opportunity to cut him.
If Dee or Devens wins the second HOH, Yash could be blindsided by the very alliance he just created. If Drew wins, his deal says he can’t target Yash — meaning Drew would have to go after the Icons or his remaining FAP allies, assuming he holds to it. If Barrett or Melody survives the first eviction and wins the second HOH, the Icons are right back in the crosshairs.
Double evictions reward players who’ve already built their coalitions. They punish anyone who’s been relying on time and conversation to stay alive. That’s bad news for the Icons’ targets and potentially bad news for Yash himself.
Dee’s pivot
While the house is focused on the Drew-Melody-Barrett block, Dee is already thinking two moves ahead. She told Devens she wants to put Yash on the block in the next round — music to Devens’ ears, who’d been wondering where ruthless Dee had gone since Angela’s eviction.
Dee keeping this to herself while benefiting from Yash’s alliance is classic Dee: use the relationship as long as it’s useful, then cut the cord. She doesn’t want to sit next to Yash at the end. She knows his comp wins make him dangerous in a Final Two. And the BB Bribe expiring after this week removes the one thing that was keeping them structurally tied together.
If Dee wins the second HOH, Thursday could end with Yash on the block — the same Yash who saved her life in this game two weeks ago by voting to keep her over Angela. Taylor even said at the time that Dee being able to turn them against their own plan should be a warning sign. It was. They just didn’t listen.
The BB Bribe’s final act
The BB Bribe has been one of the defining elements of Big Brother Season 28. Yash accepted $5,000 from Dee and in return couldn’t nominate any of the three Icons during his next HOH. It constrained his nominations this week, forced Taylor onto the block as a replacement, and protected Dee and Devens from eviction in the first round of the double.
After Thursday, it’s gone. Yash is free. But the damage is already done — the Bribe helped keep Dee alive when she should have gone home, tied Yash’s hands during the most important HOH of his game, and created the structural conditions for the secret deal with Drew. The $5,000 may end up being the most consequential twist of the season.
