So, this has been something of a different week in the Big Brother house. In the aftermath of the big twist announced by Julie Chen Moonves during the 1,000th episode, feeds were down for most of the weekend. The expectation was that the feeds would return after the conclusion of the twist on Sunday’s episode.
However, Sunday’s episode frustratingly did not include the entirety of the Medieval twist playing out, so production brought the feeds up earlier than expected. Some assume this was in an effort to assauge an angry fandom. The end result is that if you only watch on CBS you still don’t know:
- Who was eliminated in the twist
- Who subsequently won HOH
- Who was nominated for eviction
- Who won the Veto comp
However, if you have watched the live feeds since they came back up, you know the answers to all of this. So today more than ever, do NOT read on if you don’t want to be spoiled for the rest of the week, especially a jam packed Wednesday episode which is basically going to have to jam in multiple episodes into one.
So with that warning in mind, for those of you still reading on, here’s what you need to know from Monday’s Big Brother live feeds.

Big Brother Season 28 Week 8 Results
Sunday’s episode began Week 8 of the summer-long competition, but not in the usual manner as rather than immediately moving to an HOH competitoon, the houseguests were sent to medieval times for a twist.
Sunday’s episode ended on a cliffhanger, but if you have been keeping an eye on the live feeds, you know what happened. In the end, Haley could not earn a victory despite having three chances and was eliminated. Dee continued to prioritize Haley over ally Barrett in the Medieval twist, further driving him to the other side of the house. Drew would go on to win HOH, Yash would win the veto comp and Devens would be named as a replacement nominee.
Got all that? Good. It will be interesting to see how production jams this all into Wednesday’s episode to set up the most consequential BB Blockbuster and live eviction vote of the season as Devens’ game is on the line and we could see our first Icon go home.

Big Brother Monday Live Feed Spoilers
An Iconic ending coming for Devens?
So as seen above, a lot has happened that has yet to make air on television. We’ve had a player (Haley) eliminated, a player win HOH (Drew), nominees named (Yash, LaLa and Taylor) and a Veto winner crowned (Yash). But perhaps the most impactful thing that has happened is Devens for some insane reason VOLUNTEERED to go on the block! I can’t stress enough how bad a move this is for Devens. If he doesn’t win the Blockbuster, he’s definitely going home. This would be a huge shift in power in the house, as Devens has been among the best players in the house to this point in the season.
It seems at some point, Devens also came to his senses and realized he should try and back track. Devens won’t come right out and retract his offer, but he does want Barrett to confirm that he won’t flip on him — which right now, it absolutely seems like he will, but Devens doesn’t know this. Barrett assures Devens they’re good (which they really aren’t). And in a bid to remind everyone *cough* Barrett *cough* that there will be consequences for any betrayal, Devens re-iterates a threat he made the day before.

Of course, despite this concerns about Barrett remain and the vets make a last-minute push for Drew to renominate someone else instead of Devens.

Despite the effort and the guilt trip, Drew stays strong and doesn’t put his showmance on the block. It is Devens as the replacement nominee, and we’re facing potentially the most consequential eviction of the season. Dee can’t believe that Devens volunteered to go up on the block and she is beginning to get the sense her closest ally could be in trouble.

As the showmance turns
Getting back to Drew and Melody, things continue to be a bit awkward between them. They continue to hang out quite a bit, but it’s clear Melody still doesn’t fully trust him and for his part, he seems somewhat frustrated that she is still angry with him about the Mallory vote and for lying to her all season.
Drew is feeling a bit jealous of Melody seemingly getting closer with Yash, but she notes that Yash’s game aligns more with hers at the moment than Drew’s. Melody still wants the remaining members of For the American People to make Final 3, but Drew is also worried about whether she’s more loyal to him or Barrett. In the course of their time together in the HOH room, Drew accidentally reveals the Toolshed alliance and Melody seemingly throws Drew a bone by revealing that his boy Barrett, aka the tall man, was not going to vote to keep Drew last week.

I think that these two still have a connection, but it’s been strained by Drew’s game play. He did invite Melody to hang out later in the night and she declined and she declined an invitation for an HOH sleepover as well (although that could have been influenced by LaLa asking Melody if she was going to sleep in the HOH room). It will be interesting to see how a potential Devens eviction impacts their relationship moving forward and if it can be repaired to where it was before Drew likely gets nominated by whoever is the next HOH.

And finally, we’ve all seen Rick Devens on reality TV before on his two seasons of Survivor. But Dee says he’s been way different in the Big Brother house and the houseguests wind up spilling some Survivor tea.
