We’re getting closer and closer to another live eviction vote on Thursday, and the houseguests currently on the block are in full campaign mode. But, are their efforts — or their allies’ — making the picture any clearer? Or is confusion still reigning over who is the target and likely to go home?

Big Brother Season 28 Week 7 Results
Sunday’s episode began Week 7 of the summer-long competition, as a new Head of Household was crowned. And coming out of a Viking-themed balance beam comp, Dee outlasted the field to become the new Head of Household.
A week after facing her first real danger of the season, Dee is back in power. She’s been at the top of my power rankings all season, and now seems primed to ensure the Icons continue to dominate the game, thanks in part to Devens’ use of the Diamond of Power of Veto last week. Can Dee further the Icons’ agenda? We’ll have to see how this week plays out!

Big Brother Tuesday Live Feed Spoilers
Everybody thinks they know the plan
The major story of the day was who will be the target in Thursday’s live eviction vote. Remember, initially the target was Drew, but apparently after his performance in the nomination ceremony (which we have still yet to see since Sunday’s episode ended on a cliffhanger) and Mallory being put up as a renom, things have shifted to Mallory being the target. But it’s far from solid and far from clear for a majority of the house.
The biggest issue for the Icons is whether or not they tell Drew and Barrett that regardless of who is still on the block, if Mallory is up they are sending her home. Devens had been sort of laying the ground work for a potential Mallory eviction, while Dee had been saying to this point that she’s safe. The Icons are divided on whether to tell Drew and Barrett, with Angela suggesting they tell them but Devens saying they should just blindside them. Because if they tell them and Mallory stays, it’s worse for them, which makes sense to Angela. So in the end it’s agreed that they’re going to blindside the boys and they can do damage control if need be.
Devens begins this work by telling Drew that they’re keeping Mallory if she’s up on the block vs. Taylor, but even as he is doing this Dee still has some concerns. Especially about Barrett. After all, he may be a weird guy, but he’s her weird guy.

Amid all this confusion, Mallory and Taylor are also campaigning to stay. Taylor went to Mallory to see if she would be a vote for her against Drew, and in not so many words Mallory confirmed she would not be. Taylor and Yash still think Drew is the target, and further Yash is dumbfounded by Melody and Mallory’s allegiance to Drew.

Yash is Team Taylor all the way, doing his best to use his influence to improve her chances of staying. In fact, he thinks he has poisoned the well enough against Drew that the Icons will vote to save Taylor over Drew, which does not appear to be the case. On the other side, however, Haley is campaigning hard against Taylor. This is not really that surprising given the climate in the house, with Taylor the other day looking to have a sensitive conversation with Haley (the likely topic of which keeps getting cut out of the live feeds every time it is discussed). She confirmed to Angela that not only will she not sugarcoat that Taylor does not have her vote, but she wants to avoid her altogether.

With that in mind, it’s not a surprise to see Taylor telling LaLa that she’s just going to focus on her speech because she just can’t talk to some of the people in the house at this point. It’s understandable considering the climate in the house (again, I encourage you to check this out) and the fact that Taylor straight up said she hates talking to dumb people. The interesting thing, especially after LaLa and Devens reached a détente the other day, is that Taylor had a seemingly good conversation with Devens in the gym. In fact, she feels like he is one of the few people who hasn’t been acting weird.

As for Mallory, she had a good talk with Dee, to the point where there is almost a part of Dee that wants to keep her (which Devens immediately shoots down). In more bad news for Mallory, Haley and Barrett have agreed that they will vote to evict Mallory if she is up on the block with Drew. But if she does go home (which, honestly, seems likely at this point), it’s really going to sting because she knows she has no one to blame but herself.
