The biggest move of Big Brother Season 28 went down on Wednesday. To save fellow Survivor alum Dee, Devens decided to unleash the Diamond Power of Veto. Not only did it spare Rick’s closest ally from elimination, but he also got to choose her replacement. The new nominee was none other than Kamu, a once powerful ally now turned foe. Still, the former MMA fighter has a chance to save himself this week. Ditto for Angela and Haley, two houseguests that have played a major role this season.
Who came out on top during Thursday’s BB Blockbuster? Will the newly formed Mosh Pit alliance prevail over Yash, the current Head of Household?

Big Brother Season 28 Week 6 Results
Sunday’s episode began Week 6 of the summer-long competition, as a new Head of Household was crowned. And coming out of the knockout comp, Yash outlasted the field to become the new Head of Household.
Since sitting on the block in Week 1, Yash has grown tremendously in the game. He came at No. 6 in our power rankings after Week 5, and seemed primed to potentially wrest control out of the hands of the Icons.
However, the Icons weren’t going to go down without a fight, and Devens struck back by invoking his Diamond Power of Veto to remove Dee from the block and put up Kamu in her place. Ultimately, Angela won the BB Blockbuster, leaving Haley and Kamu on the block, with Kamu ultimately becoming the sixth person evicted in Big Brother Season 28.

Devens’ rationale is simple. When Yash put Dee on the block, Rick felt he was breaking the Wolf Pack alliance. In his mind, that gave him the green light to pull off a major blindside. Kamu was fairly diplomatic, repeatedly saying good move. In his words, “I’m not going to cry.” With a chance at redemption during the BB Blockbuster, this isn’t a death sentence by any means. Acting cordial goes a lot farther than coming off as an angry, bitter houseguest.
With that being said, Kamu made his future plans clear: if he wins the HOH, Devens is going on the block. As for Yash, he’s attempting to spin this as a positive. When talking to Barrett, Drew and Melody, the current Head of Household is attempting to convince them of a future alliance involving Kamu and Taylor. However, the trio still seem dead set on sticking with the Icons.
Dee is, predictably, on cloud nine. Her life in this game has been saved by her former Survivor frenemy. Either way, the Mosh Pit should be good to go. Later on, a conversation with Kamu creates an interesting dialogue. He tells her about the rumors of pledging loyalty on a Bible, brought forth by Haley. Dee denies the allegations, although she does admit to some deception in the past. That alone is enough for Kamu to declare (via confessional) that he’s going to be putting both Survivors on the block if he takes home the next HOH.
Kamu Bounces Back?
Kamu is doing his best to go after the Icons. Taylor, LaLa and Haley are likely votes (although the latter needs to get herself off of the block). As a result, the fighter is giving Mallory some juicy information. He mentions that Dee possesses the BB Bribe, which comes off as confusing to her. If Dee is telling Kamu about this stuff, why is she keeping her new allies out of the loop?
Yash isn’t staying idle either. He’s also giving Melody and Mallory a hard sell, mentioning that she attempted to bribe him into keeping herself and Angela off the block. However, there’s a catch. Yash says that Dee suggested putting Mallory and Melody on the block; that’s not based in reality. Still, in Yash’s mind, desperate times call for desperate measures. To boot, he exposes Barrett as a potential mole for the Icons, relaying information across the house. Melody believes it; she’s been suspicious of his ties to the reality TV veterans all season.
The girls are torn; while they want Kamu out, they also don’t want to be seen as pawns. If the Icons don’t win HOH, Melody and Mallory could be seen as easy nominees next week. In fact, the former even mentions that she’s starting to distrust Drew and Barrett. As for the latter, she claims a desire to eventually flip on the Mosh Pit. As things stand, this duo will likely determine which houseguest goes home.
Juggling the BB Blockbuster
This week’s BB Blockbuster offered up a simple premise, but proved difficult to execute. Competitors were placed in an air-powered chambers filled with several different colored balls. Their task was to collect ten red and ten yellow balls, placing each in two separate tubes. Upon completion (assuming they were correct), houseguests needed to press a button; first to finish wins. If there’s an incorrect number or color, you have to rearrange the balls by taking them out of the bottom of the tube.
Kamu stumbles out of the gates, while Angela is the first to get ten red balls. Haley is close behind, matching up with Angela in a back and forth affair. Kamu recovers, trailing the ladies only by a couple of balls. All three competitors fill up the reds first, making this a battle to see who gets to ten yellows first. As everyone begins reaching their limit, it’s the underdog Angela that takes herself off the block in dramatic fashion. She’s predictably elated, repeatedly yelling “Oh my God!” after the challenge is over.
Kamu Gets Canned
When it’s revealed that Angela won the BB Blockbuster, her allies are thrilled. Not only did it come at the perfect time, but her win came against two formidable opponents. It’s a different story for Haley and Kamu. Which of these former allies would find a way to save themselves this week? It’s worth noting that both have made their fair share of enemies in the house.
Ultimately, it was Kamu that went home by a vote of 8 to 1. Only LaLa, Haley’s rival, went against the fray. It’s a stunning reversal for someone that looked safe at the start of this week. It’s interesting to think that if Yash accepted Dee’s BB Bribe, his top ally would have likely avoided elimination. Alas, it wasn’t meant to be. Kamu, in decisive fashion, became the sixth houseguest evicted from Big Brother Season 28.
