There were a couple of interesting twists and turns on Monday’s Big Brother Season 28 Live Feeds, even if we’re likely still heading to the same destination on Thursday.
Drew continues to be oblivious to the potential eviction that could be coming his way, while Lyric may have done lasting damage to her place in the game on all sides with her campaigning.

Big Brother Season 28 Week 4 Results
Sunday’s episode began Week 4 of the summer-long competition, as a new Head of Household was crowned. The Toolshed once again grabbed power for the week, with Haley earning the HOH key.
Haley has already been a different type of HOH than any of her predecessors this season. Will her “my way or the highway” ethos stir drama? And will she be successful in evicting her target this week? Only time will tell.

There’s no saving Drew from himself
As expected, Taylor used the Power of Veto on herself, leading Haley to officially put Lyric on the block. It seems Chuk and Kamu were not successful in their bids to sway Haley to nominate Mallory instead.

Of course, the plan has evolved this week from Drew as a pawn to Drew as the actual target. On the face of it, this seems crazy since Drew is a part of Haley’s Toolshed alliance, but we all know that Drew has been in danger for weeks. The only person who doesn’t seem to know this is Drew himself. Mallory actually tries to warn him that, hey, you don’t have the votes dude.
Does this lead to a moment of introspection where Drew replays the events of the week and finally recognizes all the glaring red flags he’s missed? In a word, nah. Instead, he convinces himself that Mallory must be playing him and he talks about how mad it makes him … to the two people most responsible for him being in danger.

For what it’s worth, Drew still thinks there is a world in which he and Melody both survive this week. I don’t think that it’s a world that exists in this reality, but Drew can dream. But before he gets blindsided by his own alliance, they really want to dig in and see where Drew actually stands with his potential showmance.

Lyric hits a sour note?
As I mentioned above, Lyric became the official replacement nominee with Taylor taking herself off the block and that was just part of an interesting day for Lyric.
As I noted in yesterday’s Live Feeds spoilers recap, Lyric began working overdrive in a bid to keep herself off the block. That included throwing Mallory under the bus to anyone and everyone, including Kamu and Haley. This is an extension of the game Lyric has been playing all season long, which to this point has been relatively successful. However, it appears it doesn’t work quite as well on Haley, as the HOH calls out Lyric for turning on her best friends in the house.

In more bad news for Lyric, after seemingly putting Kamu deep under her spell earlier in the week, the MMA coach/fighter suddenly turned on her yesterday. In fact, he nows believes it’s Lyric’s fault that Mallory could potentially target him and Kamu is now open to sending Lyric home! Haley is down too if Drew wins the BB Blockbuster, but before the plan can really gather momentum Dee completely shuts it down.

So, it looks like no matter what happens in the Blockbuster, Lyric is probably safe. However, that doesn’t mean all is right for her, as she now has problems with her Giggle Girls allies as a result of her campaigning this week. Lyric told Mallory that Kamu and Chuk baited her into saying Mallory would nominate them, which Mallory really wishes she hadn’t done. It appears as though Melody and Mallory are now beginning to clock that they really can’t trust Lyric and Melody is tired of her nonsense.

Lyric flew a little too close to the sun with her campaigning and gameplan this week, and while it may keep her in the game for another week, it may have done SIGNIFICANT, lasting damage.

Besides being a major underdog at this point in the game, Mallory really is an audience avatar at this point. She, too, would be gagged if a member of the Red Corner was voted into the BB Time Capsule. She’s never been more relatable.
