Big Brother Live Feed Spoilers: Sunday Recap from Season 28 Week 4

Week 4 rolls on over on the Big Brother Live Feeds. It’s been a little less exciting for the last few days, but that doesn’t mean nothing is happening.

Lyric is working overdrive in a bid to stay in the game, which is also creating a potential schism in the Red Corner. Meanwhile, Drew remains as oblivious as ever to his impending doom.

Big Brother Season 28 Week 4 Results

Sunday’s episode began Week 4 of the summer-long competition, as a new Head of Household was crowned. The Toolshed once again grabbed power for the week, with Haley earning the HOH key.

Haley has already been a different type of HOH than any of her predecessors this season. Will her “my way or the highway” ethos stir drama? And will she be successful in evicting her target this week? Only time will tell.

Big Brother Sunday Live Feed Spoilers

Lyric goes to work

So, we saw on Sunday’s episode (read my recap here) that Haley has won HOH. It feels like it’s not going to be a fun week for anyone, her allies included. Not to cast aspirsions, but Haley, from watching the episodes and the live feeds, just seems like a tough hang. Sure enough, things came to a head a bit when Taylor won the veto comp — which was the poisioned wine comp from last season — and Haley is faced with naming a replacement nominee.

Much to her chagrin, Kamu has been getting closer and closer to Lyric. Haley, despite apparently making a deal with Lyric during the HOH comp, seems dead set on putting her on the block as a replacement. Kamu tried to convince Haley to nominate Mallory instead, but she she wasn’t having it. In fact, for some reason Haley wants Chuk or Kamu in the room when she tells Lyric she is going up. This led to a serious issue in the Red Corner, with Kamu and Haley going at it. After not talking for a while, Haley decided she wanted to meet later on Sunday with Kamu to air her grievances. And air them she did.

Despite being told not to give her a heads up, Kamu tells Lyric she is getting nominated. Kamu told Lyric to keep throwing names out to Haley, which Lyric does by starting to throw Mallory under the bus. Of course, when Kamu tries to take some of the intel Lyric has for him that Mallory would nominate Kamu, Chuk and LaLa if she were HOH, Haley sees right through it for what it is.

Meanwhile, Lyric begins working overtime in an effort to either keep herself off the block, or best position herself for a potential eviction vote. She begins by going to Yash and chopping it up with him. She’s pissed at Haley for breaking her promise, upset that Mallory is safe and not her and hates the entire process. But fear not she’s still got Yash.

She also spends quite a bit of time working Chuk. First she tells him that Mallory said she would nominate the Red Corner as HOH, which seems to be different than what she told Kamu but Chuk eats up without any suspicion. But, this effort seems to be working as Chuk says he’s going to try and convince Haley to nominate Mallory instead of Lyric. He even goes so far as to say he is planning another tea party in his head and is planning ways to terrorize Mallory. But he’s totally not evil, guys. Lyric has really worked Chuk into a lather.

Did Kamu or Chuk have enough sway to keep Lyric off the block? In a word, no.

Drew remains as oblivious as ever

Things continue to be bad for Drew and he really doesn’t have a clue.

Taylor is saying she wants him gone and that he’s why people thought Yash was messy, while Kamu is planning to tell Mallory prior to the live show that he nominated her as a result of Drew revealing that she was targeting him. And Angela remains as paranoid about Drew as ever, worried he is going to try and blow up the Icons’ game when he is evicted.

The bottom line is, if Drew is still on the block after the Blockbuster on Thursday night, he is going home. There’s no doubt about it. It’s too bad that he has been totally oblivious to the growing resentment toward him in the house. I’m actually interested to see what the house looks like without him in it moving forward, as there will be one less unifying target. It could change some relationships, which I will be interested to see.

Around the house roundup

As I noted in the Sunday recap, Dee won the BB Bribe in this week’s BB Time Capsule. However, she hasn’t told anyone that she has it, and thus the house is in the dark. Combined with not knowing who won the power last week, theories are running wild.

Taylor and LaLa have been joined at the hip since Day 1, but in Sunday’s episode Taylor expressed some frustration with the feelign that she is always having to coach up LaLa. Has their relationship continued to fray in the last few days? Maybe, but it seems like Taylor thinks LaLa is still on their side of the house.

HALEY won HOH on Sunday, making it four weeks in a row that a member of the Toolshed alliance took control of the house.

As head of household, Haley nominated DREW, MELODY and TAYLOR for eviction this week. If any of the three win the veto competition, or another player wins and choose to use the power of veto on them, Haley will have to select another houseguest as a replacement nominee.
