This is one of those weeks where if you’re only watching the main episodes on TV and not the Big Brother Live Feeds, you’re a little out of date.
As Wednesday night’s episode was airing, showing Drew as an almost guarantee to go home, inside the house things had flipped. Dee successfully has seemed to give Drew a decent shot of staying. Now suddenly Melody looks to be in imminent danger, even as things were still a bit up in the air regarding the vote counts in certain scenarios.
Here’s what you need to know from the Wednesday’s Big Brother live feeds.
Check out our Big Brother power rankings after Week 3!
Big Brother Season 28 Week 4 Results
Sunday’s episode began Week 4 of the summer-long competition, as a new Head of Household was crowned. The Toolshed once again grabbed power for the week, with Haley earning the HOH key.
Haley suffered a bit of HOHitis, with her “my way or the highway” ethos rubbing some people the wrong way. Taylor was able to capture the Power of Veto, forcing Haley to nominate a fourth houseguest for eviction, who turned out to be Lyric.
Will Haley be successful in evicting her target this week? We’ll find out tonight.
- Head of Household: Haley
- Power of Veto winner: Taylor
- Nominees: Drew, Melody and Lyric (Taylor taken off the block)
- Evicted last week: Jason
- Remaining players: 14
- Next episode: Thursday, August 6 (BB Blockbuster competition and Live Eviction vote)
Big Brother Wednesday Live Feed Spoilers
It’s so hard to say goodbye
It seems more and more likely that unless she wins the Blockbuster, Melody is going home. And at this point, it feels like Melody is emotionally wrung out.

Melody admits that she could have campaigned harder, but really in her mind, what’s the point? At one point she even says she feels like she’s in a disassociated state and watching herself from above. That doesn’t mean she isn’t emotional and she says that at least some part of her wants to stay and play Big Brother with Mallory and Drew and she hopes she’s made her mom proud. Ever the optimist, or perhaps not seeing the forest from the trees, Drew tries to remind Melody that in the first three weeks an initial nominee has yet to go home, it’s always been the replacement nom.
But the reality is, things aren’t looking good for Melody. Yash is cool with either going home so long as Lyric stays (although he prefers evicting Drew), and Devens has to set him straight that Melody is now the target. Devens also confirmed as much to Mallory in the midst of making a pitch to her for a deal.
Devens tells Mallory he wants to keep Drew this week. Devens and Mallory talk about the votes this week and Melody not having the votes to stay if she doesn’t win the block buster. Devens says Mallory should win the next HOH. Devens says if he wins HOH then he won’t nominate… pic.twitter.com/Q7DTJn6hwi

Drew has spent most of the day with Melody and even talks about how recording a potential goodbye message for her made him cry. Speaking of crying, Drew got emotional when talking with Devens about the possibility that Melody could be evicted, not knowing that his good fortune could be her downfall.

Mallory takes the news Devens gave her and tells Melody that she’s become the target now, and to say Melody is shocked is an understatement. Melody can’t believe that Devens wants to keep Drew over her and she’s angry that the house is planning to send her home if she doesn’t win the Blockbuster. But, she’s also just hoping that Drew isn’t badmouthing her in a bid to stay.

Melody wasn’t the only person Mallory delivered bad news to. She also tells Drew that if Melody wins the Blockbuster, he’s going home. As a result he doesn’t stay up as late with Melody and could be spiralling.
OMG Mallory just told Drew she heard Drew is getting evicted if Melody wins the block buster. She said Yash, Angela and Devens told her this. Drew is going to spiral #bb28 pic.twitter.com/G6Jjn9B4m9

Will this be a wakeup call for Drew? Or will this put him in a negative space ahead of a very important Blockbuster?
Seeing Red around every Corner
Earlier in the week in my Live Feeds recap and in my Wednesday episode recap, I noted that there could be some cracks showing in the foundation of the Red Corner. Now could there also be cracks showing in the larger Toolshed and with the Vets? It appears that Angela’s growing closeness with Haley could be setting off alarms.
Angela had a sleepover with Haley in the HOH bed and generally seemed to be strengthening their connection. She empathsizes with Haley’s frankly strange contention that she’s had a rough time in the house despite never being anywhere near the block, and even gassed her up and strokes Haley’s ego a bit by saying that she thinks Kamu is into her, which probably feels good at time when Kamu is fighting so hard for Lyric.
And when it comes to gameplay, Kamu suggests that if he comes to down to him and Angela in the next HOH comp he’ll throw it to her, which she indicates would lead her to give him outsized influence.
Kamu says if he and Angela are the last 2 in the HOH comp, then he will throw it to Angela. Angela says her HOH would be just as much Kamu’s as it is hers #bb28 pic.twitter.com/Rp3GD4tVd6

If this all gives you the feeling that Angela might be getting a little too cozy with the Corner, well, you’re not alone. Dee has clocked this as well, and the sleepeover likely won’t help matters. In Dee’s mind it’s time for the Icons to meet and get back on the same page, especially as she is getting more and more weary of Angela’s friends in the Red Corner.
Dee did not like the vibe earlier in the HOH w/ Haley, Kamu, Chuk & Angela – She tells Devens the Vets need to meet together – She says Lyric won't put them up & she believes her but Lyric has to be taken out cause of her connections to Chuk/Kamu (hey maybe tomorrow?) #BB28 pic.twitter.com/EnWdmrIArc

Around the house roundup
I’ve been generally more positive on Yash lately, what with him finally showing a spark of potential in the game and generally being in a decent position in the middle. However, he may be getting a little too big for his briches.
First, he’s having a little too much fun with the idea that Melody is bad at comps (newsflash, you haven’t won an HOH or veto either, bro) and then as I noted above Devens has to check him a bit with what’s the real deal when it comes to this week’s vote. The biggest red flag for Yash, however, is that he may be lined up to be Angela’s new target of obesssion. Watch your back, Yash.
Yash approaches Angela inquiring about the vote – Angela calls out Yash saying she heard he dropped her name for noms (idk when) – Yash denies hugs her denies hugs her – But it's too late…Big Ang's next target is locked #BB28 pic.twitter.com/ZJB0Ksmsz5

Unlike Haley, Mallory actually HAS had a rough start to the season. Sure’s she’s won the Power of Veto as well as the Blockbuster, but it’s got to be exhausting to constantly be coming from behind in this game. Therefore, who could blame Mallory for cracking just a little bit under the pressure.

Finally, we got confirmation of some big news for next week’s game, as CBS has confirmed that the infamous Wall comp is set to return as this week’s HOH competition. It is set to take place tonight after the live eviction vote before airing on Sunday’s episode.
