UPDATE: Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (pelvic) has been ruled out for tonight’s game. Tonight, Jimmy Butler returns to Miami for the first time since the blockbuster deal that sent him to the Golden State Warriors for a 7:30 p.m. ET nationally-televised matchup. The intrigue would be high, but the teams have had drastically […]

The Atlanta Hawks may be the league’s most predictable team, as they look bound for the Play-In Tournament for the fourth straight season. They’ve only advanced out of that tournament once, though; in 2022, they won the opening game to claim a bid in the postseason as the seventh seed, and last season’s defeat gifted […]

With a healthy LaMelo Ball, a future building block in Brandon Miller, last season’s runner-up for Rookie of the Year, and a rookie lottery pick in Tidjane Salaün, the Charlotte Hornets could have realistically hoped to compete for at least a Play-In Tournament spot. But Ball has played just 46 games because of a variety […]

Despite what Saquon Barkley may have made some think with his heroics in the 2025 playoffs, the NFL is a quarterback league. It’s not a surprise, then, that even in a relatively weak quarterback class, former University of Miami signal-caller Cameron Ward is a -700 favorite to be selected by the Tennessee Titans with the […]

It’s not an exaggeration to say that Dallas Mavericks fans have been waiting for good news for almost three months now. On Christmas Day, with the Mavericks in fourth in the Western Conference, Luka Dončić suffered a calf strain, and since then, Dallas’ road has been tumultuous, to say the least. Dereck Lively II suffered […]

Despite losing both Victor Wembanyama and De’Aaron Fox for the season, the San Antonio Spurs have suddenly won three straight games and, while it probably hurts San Antonio’s long-term ceiling because it decreases its odds of landing a top-five pick in the deep upcoming NBA draft class, the win streak comes with one major bright […]

Finally, we’ve reached the point in the season where teams in each conference are being mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. There are two teams in each conference — the Washington Wizards and the Charlotte Hornets in the East, and the New Orleans Pelicans and Utah Jazz — who have clinched that dubious dishonor. But several […]

From the time the NBA’s action tonight tips off to the time it ends, six or so hours will have passed. With the Boston Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks both playing games on the West Coast, tonight’s eight-game slate is split into a six-game main DFS contest and a two-game night special. Both games should […]

The first game of the Los Angeles Lakers’ stretch run admittedly didn’t go so well. With LeBron James and Rui Hachimura finally back from their injuries, Los Angeles suffered a 146-115 defeat to the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night despite a 29-point first half from Luka Dončić. Rookie Matas Buzelis scored a career-high 31 points […]

Residents of the Big Apple are sweating. The Indiana Pacers, on a four-game win streak, have climbed to within three games of the New York Knicks for the third seed in the Eastern Conference while holding off the Milwaukee Bucks and Detroit Pistons, who are one and two games back, respectively. Indiana’s steady climb up […]

UPDATE: According to Marc Stein, Davis is available tonight. When Anthony Davis ($10,200) made his debut for the Dallas Mavericks on February 8, it became clear why Nico Harrison had coveted him so much in the deal that sent Luka Dončić ($12,300) to the Los Angeles Lakers, as he scored 26 points and grabbed 16 […]
