Best Tyrese Haliburton Prop Bets for Pacers vs. Timberwolves on Monday 3/24/25

Residents of the Big Apple are sweating. The Indiana Pacers, on a four-game win streak, have climbed to within three games of the New York Knicks for the third seed in the Eastern Conference while holding off the Milwaukee Bucks and Detroit Pistons, who are one and two games back, respectively.

Indiana’s steady climb up the standings since New Year’s Day has largely been driven by steady play from point guard Tyrese Haliburton, who’s averaging 19.4 points and 9.6 assists per game in 2025 while shooting 50.8% from the field and 43.7% from beyond the arc. Although he’s missed six games out of the Pacers’ last 10 with a variety of ailments, he’s expected to suit up tonight as Indiana hosts the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are one game worse than Indiana but hold just the West’s seventh seed.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, the Pacers are 2.5-point favorites and the total is set for 229. Below, I’ve highlighted my prop bets centered around Haliburton.

Tyrese Haliburton to Record a Double-Double (-115)

Indiana is starting to become a much more dangerous team because it has gotten fully healthy; the only players with an injury designation for tonight’s game are Isaiah Jackson, who tore his Achilles on November 1 and has missed the entire season, and Bennedict Mathurin, who’s questionable with an illness. Several of the Pacers’ role players have started to find their groove; Mathurin has scored double-digit points in each of his past four games, center Myles Turner has recorded 20 or more in each of his past two, and the ever-available Pascal Siakam is shooting 63.8% from inside the arc in March.

With his teammates stepping up, it’s not a surprise that Haliburton has recorded a double-double in all but one of his games after the All-Star break. Over that 10-game streak, he’s averaging 21.3 points and 12.2 assists per game on ridiculous 55-48-94 shooting efficiency. To be fair, Minnesota has a solid defense; in their last seven games, since four-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert returned from a 10-game absence due to a back injury, the Timberwolves have have allowed the 11th-fewest points and fifth-fewest assists per game. But Haliburton has recorded 12 or more assists six times during his streak, so he has some margin for regression.

Tyrese Haliburton U2.5 Three-Pointers Made (-120)

Among 93 players who have appeared in at least 10 games since the All-Star break and attempt at least five three-pointers per game, Haliburton’s 46.3% accuracy ranks fifth. He hit three or more three-pointers in each of his first five games after the intermission, converting at an incredible 53.5% clip. But since then, he has slowed down somewhat, both attempting and making fewer triples. So far in March, he’s just 14-for-37 (37.8%) and has made two or fewer threes in each of his last four games. Whether or not his shot is impacted by his physical ailments, he’s been beating teams in other ways.

I don’t expect him to fire away from deep against a Minnesota team that has a pair of rangy wing defenders in Jaden McDaniels and Anthony Edwards to complement Gobert’s elite rim protection. Since Gobert returned from his injury, the Timberwolves have allowed the second-fewest made triples per game in the league and held opponents to just a 37.2% clip. Minnesota has allowed an extremely healthy shot diet, forcing opponents to settle for midrange shots at the league’s 10th-highest rate and allowing above-the-break triples at the second-lowest. McDaniels has allowed just a 35.6% conversion rate from deep as the nearest defender.
