Garion is a Toronto-based writer who has been playing fantasy sports since elementary school. With a particular affinity for advanced statistics and sabermetrics, he’s been covering DFS Baseball, Football and Basketball for DraftKings dating back to 2018. Prior to that, Garion’s work could be found at FNTSY, SportsGrid, HoopsHype, The New York Daily News and Sportsnet.ca. Still, he is a Dolphins fan, so his decision-making can be questioned from time-to-time.
UPDATE: Giannis Antetokounmpo is available for Thursday’s game. There’s a movement pattern on an NBA Injury Report that I refer to as “the Antetokounmpo” due to how often Giannis has followed the trend in recent seasons. It’s when a player is downgraded from probable throughout the day and is eventually ruled out. Well, Giannis Antetokounmpo […]

It’s a small MLB slate on Thursday. It’s also a slate mostly contained to the afternoon. Still, that doesn’t mean you can’t bet a couple strikeout props on the DraftKings Sportsbook. If anything, that definitely sounds like more fun than doing your job. …Unless you’re a magician. That would be more fun. Let’s take a […]

Five of the six MLB games scheduled on Thursday are taking place in the afternoon, so you’re going to have to hustle if you want to craft a couple DFS lineups on DraftKings. I’m here to help in that process. Let’s break down some studs and values you’ll need to consider on the diamond. Set […]

Do you really need me to go over the backstory here? Nearly two months to the day after he traded to Los Angeles in a truly stunning move, Luka Doncic will make his return to Dallas. The fans will have t-shirts. The Lakers will be motivated. Nico Harrison will [checks notes] …be in witness protection? […]

A majority of today’s baseball games are taking place in the afternoon, but we still have a five-game evening MLB slate on DraftKings. It’s been a rocky start to the season for Justin Steele, and just as things were looking up, they’re suddenly once again looking pretty glum. On Wednesday morning, the veteran was placed on the 15-day IL with left elbow tendinitis. Steele was roughed up in his first three outings of 2025, which includes a start […]

The toughest battles always come towards the end, right? The final boss, if you will. It appears that’s what the NBA schedule makers had in mind when they mapped out this last week of the regular season. We’ve got a pair of 15-game slates on the horizon, but before we get to that, there’s this […]

In a contest that could very well be a Play-In Tournament preview, the Heat and the Bulls will square-off in Chicago on Wednesday. It’s not yet clear if Miami will be back to full strength in this matchup, but things are trending in the right direction. After missing Monday’s victory over the 76ers due to […]

Weather has shrunk tonight’s featured MLB slate down to just nine games, but there’s still a ton of interesting players to choose from for your lineups. Some might even say there’s too many. That’s where I come in. Let’s make things a little simpler. Here’s three assets you must have in your player pool for […]

Shockingly, it doesn’t seem like the frigid weather in the northeast is going to cause any postponements this evening, so we’re set to roll with a nine-game featured MLB slate on DraftKings. That means 18 teams to choose from for your lineups. Which present the best opportunities for a stack in DFS? Allow me to […]
