Fantasy Football RB Touch & Target Projections for Seahawks vs. Broncos

In fantasy football, running back is arguably the most important position on the field. At the very least, good RBs are the hardest commodity to come by in most formats, and finding ones with any value in DFS is a chore.

With all that in mind, I’m here help.

Let’s break down some touch and target projections for each backfield in tonight’s Thursday Night Football tilt between the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos.

– Proj Car / Proj Tgt — Projected rushing attempts and receiving targets. Game script adjusts the split: favored teams get up to 12% more carries, underdogs get up to 15% more targets.

– Projections — Built from blended per-game rates (30% 2025 / 70% 2026), adjusted for matchup, game spread, DK team totals, and depth chart role. Out/IR players excluded with touches redistributed. Q/D volume reductions apply Fri-Sun only (after official designations).

This Seattle backfield is about to get very messy. Zach Charbonnet (knee) seems like he’ll be good to go in Week 7, while first-round pick Jadarian Price (chest) is eligible to come off the IR in Week 8. However, for the time being on Thursday night, this should remain Emanuel Wilson’s show.

The 27-year-old has registered snap shares of 60.0% and 58.7% in his last two games, respectively, while Wilson’s one of just four running backs to see at least 40 carries since the beginning of Week 4, joining Derrick Henry, Jahmyr Gibbs and Aaron Jones. It’s a span where Wilson’s averaging a healthy 0.58 PPR points per snap — which is the fourth-highest mark in the league. George Holani is going to be involved, especially in the passing attack, but this really seems like another opportunity for Wilson to flirt with 20 touches.

While J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey are clearly in a committee, there are at least some pretty defined roles. Dobbins will get the early down work and the goal line action, while Harvey is far more involved as pass catcher. We’ve seen this play out for about a month now, especially since Jonah Coleman (ankle) was placed on IR after Week 2.

Dobbins has seen double-digit carries in four straight contests, even garnering a season-high 18 in last weekend’s victory over the Chargers. The veteran is also the only active RB on Denver’s roster to see a rushing attempt inside the 20-yard line through five weeks. That’s crucial to Dobbins’ value, as a 43.8% rushing success rate is among the lowest in the NFL for qualified backs. Dobbins is a classic touchdown-dependent fantasy asset.

Meanwhile, Harvey is on the heels of his worst performance of the season in Week 5, with just three total touches and zero receptions. I wouldn’t expect a repeat showing on TNF, though. In Weeks 1, 3 and 4 — Harvey was inactive in Week 2 — the sophomore RB led the Broncos skill position players in targets (21) and receptions (20), and it wasn’t particularly close. Bo Nix hasn’t wanted to throw downfield at all this season, and Harvey’s been his favorite check-down security blanket.
