Check out my best bet below for Isaac Moreno vs. Reginaldo Junior at tonight’s edition of Dana White’s Contender Series.
Exact Method of Victory: KO/TKO/DQ (-105)
Junior hails from Brazil and is a part of The Fighting Nerds, a popular and elite MMA team. His last four fights and six of his previous seven have taken place in LFA, a top-tier regional promotion. Since Junior suffered his lone MMA loss in Match 2023, he has won five consecutive contests, with four by knockout or submission in that span. Up until this point, Moreno has spent his entire MMA career competing in Fury Fighting Championship. Including his amateur career, Moreno is 13-0 with 10 finishes.
Moreno is two inches taller (5’10” vs. 5’8″), but Junior has a one-inch reach advantage (74″ vs. 73″). In this bout, Moreno is a -130 favorite with Junior being a +110 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook. The over/under is set at 1.5 rounds, with the over being -180 and the under being +140.
This matchup has all the makings of a fantastic contest between two high-level fighters and elite finishers. Moreno primarily excels on the feet, while Junior’s skill set is versatile, with finishing ability on the feet and on the ground. Moreno’s last three wins have come by knockout, and Junior has won three of his last five by KO/TKO/DQ. I’m taking this fight to end by KO/TKO/DQ at -105. Although Junior is skilled on the ground, I see him going toe-to-toe on the feet with Moreno in this contest.
