Check out my best bet below for Quentin Pasley vs. Arlind Berisha at tonight’s edition of Dana White’s Contender Series.
Winning Round: Round 1 (-150)
Although Pasley only has three professional MMA fights, he was highly successful as an amateur. From January 2022 to August 2023, Pasley went 7-0 with seven finishes in the first two rounds as an amateur. Pasley has also competed in one boxing fight and four grappling matches. Berisha also excelled as an amateur, going 8-1 with eight finishes before turning pro in September 2023. Even though both fighters appear new to MMA, that isn’t entirely true, as they have previous experience in the sport.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Berisha is a -148 favorite with Pasley being the underdog at +124. In this fight, Berisha is two inches taller (6’6″ vs. 6’4″), while Pasley has a slight reach advantage (78″ vs. 77″). The over/under is set at 1.5 rounds, with the under at -230, and the over is +175. Also, this contest is -900 not to go the distance.
Between the two fighters, all 10 of their combined fights have ended in the first round. Also, five of Pasley’s seven victories as an amateur came in the first round. Berisha scored six first-round wins in his amateur career. I’m taking this contest to end in Round 1 at -150. With two all-action fighters, this will likely be a fast-paced war on the feet that doesn’t last long.
