Check out my best bet below for Mario Pinto vs. Ryan Spann at today’s UFC Fight Night in Paris.
Mario Pinto to Win by KO/TKO/DQ (-135)
In the last 14 months, Spann has scored two finishes against Marcus Buchecha and Lukasz Brzeski. If Spann can get past Pinto, it would increase his winning streak to three for the first time since 2020. Overall, Spann is 24-11 with 21 finishes in his MMA career.
Pinto is from Portugal but now calls London, England home as he trains at FightZone London. In October 2024, Pinto earned a UFC contract on Dana White’s Contender Series. Although Pinto is coming off a victory by decision, he has never had two consecutive decisions so far.
Even though Spann is the much more experienced fighter, Pinto is the favorite in this contest at -355, with the veteran as a +280 underdog on DraftKings Spotsbook. This fight has an over/under of 1.5 rounds, with the under at -135 and the over at +105. Spann and Pinto are both 6’5″ with a standing reach of 79″. Even though they match up similarly, I give the edge to Pinto as the better athlete, and he hasn’t taken much damage yet. Since three of his previous four and seven of his 12 MMA wins have come by knockout, I’m taking Pinto to win by KO/TKO/DQ at -135.
