The UFC will host a Fight Night event today in Paris, France, at the Accor Arena! A high-stakes Lightweight matchup between No. 10 Dan Hooker and top French prospect Salahdine Parnasse is set for the Main Event. Nine fighters from France are featured on this card.

When the UFC signed Salahdine Parnasse a few months ago, he was one of the top free agents and among the best fighters in the sport outside the promotion. From 2017 to 2026, Parnasse competed in one of the best European promotions, KSW, and was their Featherweight and Lightweight Champion while recording 11 title wins. Parnasse is already 25 fights into his MMA career but is just 28 years old. In the last two years since his previous defeat, Parnasse has won five straight contests, with each coming by knockout in the first or second round.

Hooker has been in the UFC since 2014 and is known for his all-action style and willingness to fight anyone. He is coming off two losses to Benoît Saint Denis and Arman Tsarukyan and hasn’t won a fight since he beat Mateusz Gamrot at UFC 305 in August 2024. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Parnasse is the favorite in this contest at -550 while Hooker is a +410 underdog. Although Hooker is the underdog, he is getting 84 percent of the handle and 57 percent of bets. Meanwhile, 43 percent of bets and 16 percent of the handle is on Parnasse.

The co-main event features two French Lightweights who are looking to take the next step in their careers as Fares Ziam faces Axel Sola. Ziam lost his last fight to Tom Nolan in June but won six straight before that. Sola is coming off a first-round submission victory over Ismael Bonfim less than two months ago and is 2-1 in the UFC. Sola is receiving 65 percent of the handle, with 35 percent on Ziam. Sola also gets 59 percent of bets, while 41 percent are on Ziam in this contest. Ziam is a -155 favorite, and Sola is the underdog at +130.
