Dee won HOH and immediately put her own Mosh Pit ally Drew on the block alongside Taylor and LaLa. Playing the middle finally caught up to Drew, and Yash poured gasoline on the fire by lying to Dee’s face about who was really driving the anti-Icon campaign. Now Drew is on the block next to two people who hate him for the Kamu vote, and his only hope is the Power of Veto.
Here’s everything to know about Wednesday’s episode, including the air time, how to watch and what to expect.
What happened last time on Big Brother Season 28?
Dee won the Week 7 HOH in a Viking-themed balance beam comp, putting the Icons back in power one week after facing the block for the first time. She immediately set her sights on the people who had been “saying her name” — but the target list got complicated fast.
Yash, facing almost certain nomination after putting Dee up last week, went to work. Dee then offered Yash the BB Bribe a second time: $5,000 if he agrees to keep all three Icons safe the next time he’s HOH. Yash accepted, and received verbal (non-binding) assurances that the Icons won’t target him during their next HOH reigns. Just like that, Yash went from Dee’s backdoor target to protected.
He followed that up by going into the lion’s den and lying. He told Dee that Drew and Barrett were the ones driving the anti-Icon campaign during his HOH, deflecting blame. It was grimy, but it worked — Dee was already suspicious of Drew and after a disastrous Mosh Pit meeting where Drew couldn’t explain himself, Yash’s lies gave her the confirmation bias she needed.
Drew was voted into the BB Time Capsule and won the Never-Not Pass — a power, but a largely meaningless one. He tried to use the moment to build trust with Dee, revealing the power and insisting his loyalty has always been to the Crossovers. Dee wasn’t convinced. She thinks Drew is loyal “to a point” but ultimately put him on the block alongside Taylor and LaLa.
The nomination ceremony ended on a cliffhanger: Taylor confronted Drew, demanding that he give chapter and verse on when, where and how she targeted Dee. That drama carries into Wednesday.

What to expect on Big Brother tonight
The Power of Veto competition
Drew, Taylor and LaLa all need the veto to guarantee safety. Drew’s position is the most precarious — he’s on the block because his own alliance put him there, and both his fellow nominees and Yash openly blame him for last week’s Kamu eviction. Winning the veto is his only clean path off the block.
If Taylor or LaLa wins, they save themselves but Drew remains in danger with a high likelihood of being sent home. If a non-nominee wins, the question becomes whether anyone uses it and forces Dee to name a replacement. And if no one uses the veto, the noms stay and the house has to decide which of three very different players goes home.
Drew’s collapse
Six weeks of playing the middle finally caved in on Drew in a single episode. Yash blew up his game by revealing his Final 2 with Kamu. Melody’s growing distrust deepened. Then Yash lied to Dee’s face in a meeting where Drew couldn’t defend himself, and Dee chose to believe the enemy over the ally.
Drew admitted in the diary room that no matter what he says, Dee isn’t going to believe him. He confessed to playing both sides but insisted it was always for the benefit of the Crossovers. None of it landed. Barrett tried damage control — telling Dee that Drew is more loyal than Yash — but Dee nominated Drew anyway.
The irony is brutal: Drew got the result he wanted last week (Kamu evicted), but the process of getting there alienated Melody, enraged Yash, and now made Dee suspicious enough to put him on the block. He burned every bridge trying to play every side and ended up alone in the middle of the wreckage.
Yash’s survival masterclass
Yash walked into this week as the most obvious target in the house. He just put Dee on the block. He lost his top ally Kamu. He couldn’t compete for HOH. Everything pointed to him being in big trouble.
Instead, he lied his way to safety. He told Dee that Drew was behind the anti-Icon push (not entirely true). He deflected all blame from himself. He accepted the BB Bribe, securing protection from all three Icons during their next HOH reigns in exchange for protecting them in his next HOH reign. And he left the Mosh Pit meeting looking more truthful than Drew, despite being the one actively lying.
It’s not pretty gameplay, but Yash went from dead man walking to protected in a single conversation. He took a deal, threw Drew under the bus, and emerged from the lion’s den unscathed. The question now is whether that deal holds, and whether Yash can rebuild enough to take another shot at the Icons when the protection expires.
Taylor says she’s ready to play nasty
Taylor has been one of the more strategic players all season — coaching LaLa, building relationships in the house and positioning herself carefully. But she’s on the block now, and she’s angry. She said it plainly: she’s ready to get down in the gutter.
Taylor confronted Drew at the nomination ceremony, demanding chapter and verse on when and how she conspired against her. That cliffhanger closes Sunday’s episode and opens Wednesday’s. Taylor playing nasty could mean anything from aggressive campaigning to blowing up information about Drew’s game both true and false. Wednesday could get ugly.
LaLa’s low point
LaLa said she wants to go home. She’s feeling like her time in the house is a waste, saying every group she forms gets dismantled. She’s been left out of votes and now nominated by someone she thought she had a working relationship with through the Honor Society.
LaLa threw Drew, Mallory and Melody under the bus in her conversation with Dee, telling the HOH that those three were all part of the anti-Icon sentiment. That might help her short-term positioning but damages relationships with potential allies. At 58 and feeling isolated, LaLa’s trajectory is pointing down — but she’s shown before (the Wall comp) that she competes hardest when cornered.
The Mosh Pit is already fracturing
Dee just nominated a member of her own seven-person alliance. That tells you everything about where the Mosh Pit stands. It’s been one week since formation and the HOH is already treating her allies as expendable.
Mallory, Melody and Barrett all chose not to win HOH this week — avoiding blood on their hands but putting themselves at the mercy of Dee. This week’s power rankings warned about this exact scenario: the Mosh Pit was always the Crossovers absorbing players who weren’t sure they wanted to be absorbed. Now Dee is proving what the bottom of that alliance looks like. If Melody and Mallory don’t read this week as a warning about their future in the Mosh Pit, they’re not paying attention.
Who is currently nominated for eviction?
- LaTrice
- Drew (Dee’s own Mosh Pit/Crossovers ally-turned-target)
- Taylor
