Fantasy football draft season is in full swing, so I ran a 10-team PPR mock draft to see what a team could look like when selecting from the No. 7 pick position.
Drafting from the back half of the first round can create plenty of different paths in a 10-team fantasy football league. Rather than locking into one position early, managers can react to how the opening picks fall and take advantage of value throughout the draft. Here’s a round-by-round look at my 10-team PPR fantasy football mock draft, including full draft results and how the final roster came together.

Round 1, Pick 7: Jonathan Taylor, RB, Indianapolis Colts
Other top players available: Amon-Ra St. Brown, James Cook, CeeDee Lamb
Look, it’s Jonathan Taylor. The man is a tank.
323 carries, 1,585 rushing yards 18 touchdowns and 46 receptions last year. The gameplan for Indy hasn’t changed at all heading into this season. Give No. 28 the ball again, and again, and again. He’s a locked-in RB1 in 2026 and a no-brainer first-round pick in fantasy drafts.
Round 1 Results
- Jahmyr Gibbs
- Christian McCaffrey
- Bijan Robinson
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba
- Puka Nacua
- Ja’Marr Chase
- Jonathan Taylor
- Amon-Ra St. Brown
- James Cook
- CeeDee Lamb
Round 2, Pick 14: De’Von Achane, RB, Miami Dolphins
Other top players available: Omarion Hampton, Drake London, A.J. Brown
As you can see, I’m only targeting running backs who wear No. 28 in this draft.
Achane’s situation isn’t quite as sound as Taylor’s. There’s a good chance his team won’t be competing for a playoff spot come Weeks 16-18, and Miami’s offense will likely stall out earlier in drives more consistently than Indy. All of that said, Achane is one of the most electrifying players in football, and he’s going to see the rock this year. A lot. Head Coach Jeff Hafley declared his bell cow could receive up to 40 touches in multiple outings this year.
Assuming health, this is a guy who could easily outperform his ADP in the second round.
Round 2 Results
- Ashton Jeanty
- Justin Jefferson
- Saquon Barkley
- De’Von Achane
- Omarion Hampton
- Drake London
- A.J. Brown
- Chase Brown
- George Pickens
- Derrick Henry
Round 3, Pick 27: Nico Collins, WR, Houston Texans
Other top players available: Rashee Rice, Chris Olave, Lamar Jackson
You know what you’re getting with Nico Collins’ fantasy situation. He’s a bonafide top-10 receiver in football, a lock for 1,000 yards and six touchdowns (assuming health) who is capable of putting up drastically greater numbers. The issue tends to be the man under center. For whatever reason, C.J. Stroud just hasn’t figured out that he needs to feed feeding Collins the way Puka Nacua, Ja’Marr Chase and Amon-Ra St. Brown are targeted. The big-play threat ranked 17th in targets per game last year, and a large reason why he even cracked the top 20 is the three games Stroud missed. So, Collins is available in the third round of drafts because he won’t see top-five WR usage despite arguably possessing those talents. Still, he’s about as good as you’re going to get in a third-round WR1. He’s the perfect third-round target if you go RB-RB with your first two selections.
Round 3 Results
- Josh Allen
- Brock Bowers
- Kenneth Walker III
- Malik Nabers
- Trey McBride
- Jeremiyah Love
- Nico Collins
- Rashee Rice
- Chris Olave
- Lamar Jackson
Round 4, Pick 34: Tee Higgins, WR, Cincinnati Bengals
Other top players available: Emeka Egbuka, Javonte Williams, DeVonta Smith
I could have chased upside with DeVonta Smith or Emeka Egbuka here, but I chose to draft a more solidified player who has just as much upside (if not more) and a stronger floor in Higgins. The best WR2 in football when healthy (sorry Davante Adams fans), Higgins has proven his ability to finish as a top-12 fantasy receiver playing alongside Ja’Marr Chase. Operating in one of the NFL’s best passing attacks, Tee will continue to receive a massive target share, giving him high-end WR2/low-end WR1 prospects.
Round 4 Results
- Breece Hall
- Kyren Williams
- Josh Jacobs
- Tee Higgins
- Emeka Egbuka
- Javonte Williams
- DeVonta Smith
- Zay Flowers
- Tetairoa McMillan
- Bucky Irving
Round 5, Pick 47: Travis Etienne Jr., RB, New Orleans Saints
Other top players available: David Montgomery, DJ Moore, Jaylen Waddle
Alvin Kamara is set to miss the first few weeks of the season with an MCL sprain, putting Etienne in a fantastic spot to carve out the RB1 role many expect him to earn in his first year with the Saints. The former Jaguar was a true bell cow last year, rushing 260 times for 1,107 yards and racking up 36 receptions. The Saints’ offense is expected to take a major step forward this season, and Etienne should be a primary beneficiary of that. Fringe RB1 numbers are a possibility, making him a fantastic value selection in the fifth round.
Round 5 Results
- Ladd McConkey
- Garrett Wilson
- Cam Skattebo
- Colston Loveland
- Davante Adams
- Tyler Warren
- Travis Etienne Jr.
- David Montgomery
- DJ Moore
- Jaylen Waddle
Round 6, Pick 54: Terry McLaurin, WR, Washington Commanders
Other top players available: D’Andre Swift, Joe Burrow, Jalen Hurts
McLaurin isn’t going to see the necessary target share to put up top-5 WR numbers, but if he can stay on the field he’ll almost certainly outperform his ADP. Washington’s offense is primed to bounce back after a down year, and McLaurin is only one season removed from racking up 82 receptions for 1,096 and a whopping 13 touchdowns. He’s a strong third receiver to have on any fantasy roster.
Round 6 Results
- Luther Burden III
- Drake Maye
- TreVeyon Henderson
- Terry McLaurin
- D’Andre Swift
- Joe Burrow
- Jalen Hurts
- Sam LaPorta
- Quinshon Judkins
- Bhayshul Tuten
Round 7, Pick 67: Jayden Daniels, QB, Washington Commanders
Other top players available: Carnell Tate, Rome Odunze, Kyle Pitts
After selecting McLaurin last round, taking Daniels was a no-brainer when he fell to me in the seventh. If the former ROTY fully returns to his pre-injury form, there are few better value selections in fantasy drafts. Daniels is a top-two rushing quarterback in the game, giving him a low-end QB1 weekly floor when he’s healthy. Washington’s offense projects to bounce back in a big way this year, and he should be the largest beneficiary of that.
Round 7 Results
- Jameson Williams
- Tucker Kraft
- Brian Thomas Jr.
- Jaylen Warren
- Chuba Hubbard
- Mike Evans
- Jayden Daniels
- Carnell Tate
- Rome Odunze
- Kyle Pitts

Round 8, Pick 74: George Kittle, TE, San Francisco 49ers
Other top players available: Caleb Williams, Christian Watson, Rhamondre Stevenson
Kittle is set to avoid the PUP list and return for Week 1. Whenever he does suit up, he’ll be stepping back into a featured receiving role for Brock Purdy and the Niners. The days of top-three tight end production are over, but Kittle could still put up low-end TE1 with significant TD upside, especially as San Francisco deals with multiple key injuries at receiver. In Round 8, you can’t ask for much more from this position.
Round 8 Results
- Jadarian Price
- DK Metcalf
- Harold Fannin Jr.
- George Kittle
- Caleb Williams
- Christian Watson
- Rhamondre Stevenson
- Dak Prescott
- Justin Herbert
- Marvin Harrison Jr.
Round 9, Pick 87: Tony Pollard, RB, Tennessee Titans
Other top players available: Jaxson Dart, Travis Kelce, Jordyn Tyson
Pollard is one of my favorite later-round picks this year. Tennessee may not boast a powerhouse of an offense, but getting a fringe bell cow at this stage of the draft is a steal. Pollard took 242 carries for 1,082 yards and five touchdowns last year, also tallying 33 catches. At 29, he’s primed to handle a similar workload again this year. The veteran should provide RB3/FLEX value with upside weekly.
Round 9 Results
- Parker Washington
- Courtland Sutton
- RJ Harvey
- J.K. Dobbins
- Michael Wilson
- Rico Dowdle
- Tony Pollard
- Jaxson Dart
- Travis Kelce
- Jordyn Tyson
Round 10, Pick 94: Alec Pierce, WR, Indianapolis Colts
Other top players available: Michael Pittman Jr., Blake Corum, Jonathon Brooks
Offseason ankle surgery dampened Pierce’s fantasy prospects a bit, but the big-play threat is still expected to suit up within the first two-to-three weeks of the season. This is a guy who dominated the end zone in 2025, finishing as PPR WR28. With the talent on this roster, taking an upside shot on a player who could produce WR3/FLEX value weekly made too much sense.
Round 10 Results
- Makai Lemon
- Chris Godwin
- Kyle Monangai
- Alec Pierce
- Michael Pittman Jr.
- Blake Corum
- Jonathon Brooks
- Kenneth Gainwell
- Jordan Addison
- Dalton Kincaid
Round 11, Pick 107: Isaiah Likely, TE, New York Giants
Other top players available: Jason Myers, Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Stefon Diggs
Assuming health, Kittle will be starting for this team all but one week. However, given his injury history, it made sense to target a late-round TE with upside. Likely fit that bill.
Round 11 Results
- Jake Ferguson
- Matthew Stafford
- Trevor Lawrence
- Josh Downs
- Patrick Mahomes
- Quentin Johnston
- Isaiah Likely
- Jakobi Myers
- Jacory Croskey-Merritt
- Stefon Diggs
Round 12, Pick 114: Wan’Dale Robinson, WR, Tennessee Titans
Other top players available: Bo Nix, K.C. Concepcion, Brock Purdy
Talk about upside, you can’t find much better than Wan’Dale Robinson at his ADP. This is a guy who finished as PPR WR14 last year. He did switch teams and is now working in an offense with multiple talented receivers around him, but I expect the shifty slot WR to lead Tennessee in catches and serve as Cam Ward’s safety blanket. Pure volume alone should put Robinson on the weekly WR3/FLEX radar. Robinson is a must-have late-round pick in drafts this year for me.
Round 12 Results
- Jordan Mason
- Aaron Jones
- Jayden Reed
- Wan’Dale Robinson
- Bo Nix
- K.C. Concepcion
- Brock Purdy
- Dallas Goedert
- Rachaad White
- Matthew Golden

Final Roster by Position
- QB: Jayden Daniels
- RB: Jonathan Taylor, De’Von Achane, Travis Etienne Jr., Tony Pollard
- WR: Nico Collins, Tee Higgins, Terry McLaurin, Alec Pierce, Wan’Dale Robinson
- TE: George Kittle, Isaiah Likely
Building around two elite running backs will often leave you lacking at receiver, but I responded by drafting five WRs who can provide starting-caliber production. This roster has depth, flexibility, and significant upside at virtually every position.
