Fantasy football draft season has arrived, so I ran a 10-team PPR mock draft to see what a team could look like when selecting from the No. 5 pick position.
Picking in the middle of a 10-team draft doesn’t leave much room to plan around turns, but there’s plenty of value to be found. Here’s a round-by-round look at my 10-team PPR fantasy football mock draft, including full draft results and how the final roster came together.

Fantasy Football Mock Draft Results: 10-Team PPR
Round 1, Pick 5: Puka Nacua, WR, Los Angeles Rams
Other top available players: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Jonathan Taylor, Amon-Ra St. Brown
Nacua is the focal point of arguably the best offense in the game, and he should step into a somehow even more expanded role this year with Davante Adams continuing to age. I anticipate Adams’ goal-line usage to take a step back, opening the door for another overall WR1 finish for Nacua. The 25-year-old star wideout is currently dealing with back soreness, but should be cleared shortly with plenty of runway before Week 1.

Round 2, Pick 16: James Cook, RB, Buffalo Bills
Other top available players: Derrick Henry, Kenneth Walker III, Drake London
I would have been perfectly comfortable “settling” for Derrick Henry (whose ADP is far too low this year) with this pick, but James Cook falling to 2.6 was a nice surprise. One could argue that despite seeing almost 350 touches last year, Cook still wasn’t utilized to his full potential, specifically in the passing game. Josh Allen is still going to vulture significant goal-line opportunities too, but all of those factors shouldn’t stop Cook from putting up RB1 numbers. He’s a game-breaking back in one of the best offenses in football, don’t overthink this one.

Round 3, Pick 25: Nico Collins, WR, Houston Texans
Other top available players: Rashee Rice, Breece Hall, Malik Nabers
Another pleasant value surprise with this selection! As someone who attempts to hold at least one Nico Collins share annually, you know what you’re getting with his fantasy situation. Collins is a bonafide top-10 receiver in football, a lock for 1,000 yards and six touchdowns (assuming health) who is capable of putting up drastically greater numbers. The issue tends to be the man under center. For whatever reason, C.J. Stroud just hasn’t figured out that he needs to feed feeding Collins the way Puka Nacua, Ja’Marr Chase and Amon-Ra St. Brown are targeted. The big-play threat ranked 17th in targets per game last year, and a large reason why he even cracked the top 20 is the three games Stroud missed. So, Collins is available in the third round of drafts because he won’t see top-five WR usage despite arguably possessing those talents. Still, at this stage in the draft, there’s value here.

Round 4, Pick 36: Javonte Williams, RB, Dallas Cowboys
Other top available players: DeVonta Smith, Bucky Irving, Emeka Egbuka
Williams put together an incredible resurgence as the Cowboys’ lead back in 2025, putting up RB1 numbers. Dallas still projects to boast an elite offense this year, and Williams will remain a focal point within it. His ceiling may be more limited than the likes of Bucky Irving, Breece Hall or Travis Etienne, but his floor is higher than all of them and the upside is certainly there.

Round 5, Pick 45: Garrett Wilson, WR, New York Jets

The addition of Omar Cooper Jr. should only help Wilson this year, as secondaries won’t be able to just hone in on him. Look, the Jets’ situation is what it is, they’re going to be very bad. However, that should lead to Geno Smith (or whoever ultimately supplants him) throwing the ball. A lot. Wilson could be in store for a career-high in targets en route to a bounce back campaign that flirts with WR1 production.

Round 6, Pick 56: D’Andre Swift, RB, Chicago Bears

Passing on Bhayshul Tuten here may be a choice I regret in hindsight due to his upside, but I love the balance of high floor and solid upside that Swift brings to the table. Yes, he’ll be in a timeshare with Kyle Monangai, but the veteran still projects to be the lead back and see significant work in the passing game. Chicago’s offense should be very productive, putting Swift in position to finish as a top-15 PPR running back again this year. I’ll jump at that value in the sixth round every time.

Round 7, Pick 65: Jayden Daniels, QB, Washington Commanders

Spending a valuable mid-round pick on Daniels is a bit of a risk, but this felt like a bit of a steal in the seventh round. If the former ROTY fully returns to his pre-injury form, there are few better value selections in fantasy drafts. Daniels is a top-two rushing quarterback in the game, giving him a low-end QB1 weekly floor when he’s healthy. Washington’s offense projects to bounce back in a big way this year, and he should be the largest beneficiary of that.

Round 8, Pick 76: Kyle Pitts, TE, Atlanta Falcons

The draft of value continues, as it was impossible to pass on last year’s PPR TE2 in the eighth round. Expecting a dip in production is one thing, but leaving him to be the eighth tight end off the board is a massive overcorrection. I tend to be a proponent of waiting on this position in drafts, and this selection only further strengthens that argument.

If the Michael Wilson we saw in 2025 is the Michael Wilson we get in 2026, this is an absolute steal. From Weeks 9-18 last year, Wilson was PPR WR3. And yet for some reason, people continue to believe Marvin Harrison Jr. will figure it out and emerge as this stud WR1 he was drafted to be. That could end up being the case, but I’d rather wait a few rounds and take a guy who could be a mainstay in your starting lineup if he reaches his potential.

Round 10, Pick 96: Blake Corum, RB, Los Angeles Rams
Other top available players: Jake Ferguson, Jordan Addison, Quentin Johnston
Corum emerged as a legitimate change-of-pace option to Kyren Williams in the NFL’s best offense last year. The 25-year-old earned nine touches per game, averaging 5.1 yards per carry and at times outperforming his backfield counterpart. Make no mistake, Corum is still the clear No. 2 RB in this system, but he could sneak into an expanded role (10-13 touches weekly) and provide matchup-dependent RB3/FLEX value. If Williams ever gets hurt, Corum is an immediate RB1.

Round 11, Pick 105: Wan’Dale Robinson, WR, Tennessee Titans

Talk about upside, you can’t find much better than Wan’Dale Robinson in the double-digit rounds. This is a guy who finished as PPR WR14 last year. Yes, he did switch teams and is now working in an offense with multiple talented receivers around him, but I expect the shifty slot WR to lead Tennessee in catches and serve as Cam Ward’s safety blanket. Pure volume alone should put Robinson on the weekly WR3/FLEX radar. Robinson is a must-have late-round pick in drafts this year for me.

I rounded out my team by taking a player who could end up being the lead back in Minnesota, which is fitting given the great value found throughout this mock draft. With Aaron Jones well past his prime, Mason should lead the Vikings in carries this year. His upside may be relatively capped, but there’s a path to legitimate production here.

The theme of this draft is value. Round after round, I never felt like a pick was forced as this team came together seamlessly. We have elite talent, fantastic depth, and potential league winners at every position. This is my favorite mock draft so far, and barring injury should be a high-end contending roster.
