Thursday’s Big Brother live feeds kicked off Week 4 immediately after Jason’s unanimous eviction, and the house wasted no time moving on to the next battle.
The house Resistance desperately needed a Head of Household win to finally wrestle power away from the Toolshed, but once again the majority alliance came out on top. New HOH Haley wasted little time laying down the law, while Taylor, Drew and Melody quickly emerged as the biggest losers of the night.

Big Brother Season 28 Week 3 Results
Sunday’s episode began Week 3 of the summer-long competition, as a new Head of Household was crowned. The Toolshed once again grabbed power for the week, with Kamu earning the HOH key.
Lyric won the Power of Veto, which was fine for Kamu’s plan to backdoor Jason. Before he could get to that, however, Kamu felt the need to blow up Jason’s game at the most dramatic tea party every thrown (sorry, Mallory). Kamu succeeded in that he was able to send Jason home after Thursday’s live vote, but did his tea party plan backfire?

Her HOH, her rules
Per usual, the next HOH comp went down late Thursday after the live eviction episode. At this point in the game the other side of the house, what I’m going to call the Resistance, NEEDS to get some measure of power. The Toolshed has run this game and has been taking apart the other side piece by piece.
So did the Resistance finally win a HOH comp and the chance to try and shake the structure of the toolshed? In a word, no.

If you thought Kamu was a “my way or the highway” type of HOH, you haven’t seen anything yet. Before she even got the key the HOH room, Haley made it clear it’s going to be her room, her rules. EVERYONE must knock. And you better have been nice to her this season.
Haley says she has had a rough 3 weeks and she has been so kind to everyone. She says when she gets her HOH letter she is going to tell everyone who has been dragging her name through the mud to leave the room. Haley made clear to Devens who her nominees are going to be — Taylor, Melody and Drew with Taylor as her target. Devens argues against putting up Drew if he’s not Haley’s target, but she insists she doesn’t want the block to be three women, so up Drew goes. She also sought to use her power to influence Kamu to distance himself from Lyric … at the same time Lyric was working Kamu to get picked up by the house majority. Things could get interesting this week.

Trouble on the horizon
Let’s get back to Drew. Despite nominally being an ally of Haley in the Toolshed, he should be anything but happy to see her in the HOH room.
We’ve already got the vultures circling before Drew’s body is even cold, with the following houseguests dragging him, with Taylor even suggesting to LaLa that they throw him under the bus to Haley.
Meanwhile, Drew’s closest ally outside the Toolshed, Melody, isn’t fairing much better. Taylor told LaLa to let Haley know that Melody hates her, while Haley and Chuk spend the majority of their 1-on-1 time bashing Melody, with Chuk calling her a “mean girl” and Haley bragging that she called out LaLa, Lyric and Melody in their 1-on-1s. Plus, Haley revealed to Mallory some of what Melody was saying in Week 1 when she trying to distance herself. Needless to say, Melody is none too pleased at the moment, lamenting to Drew how this is the type of scenario she feared when Jason was evicted. It seems like the gravity of the situation is not lost on the pair.

Around the house roundup
In this week’s Power Rankings, I had Devens and Dee at Nos. 1 and 2, as there is no denying they’ve been running this game and are in outstanding positions, especially with Devens’ Diamond Power of Veto. The Survivor vets are taking the skills they have learned in Fiji and deploying them with devestating effect in the Big Brother house. Devens just hopes they are making Uncle Jeff proud.

Speaking of this week’s Power Rankings, I surprisingly moved Yash up the ranks as he finally started making moves. Sure enough, he continued that positive momentum by locking in a Final 2 with Lyric, of all people. He tells her they don’t owe Drew and Melody anything and that they will be in the strongest middle position.
