Thursday’s live eviction came into sharper focus on Wednesday’s Big Brother live feeds, as various factions in the house began working to whip the vote.
If Jason doesn’t win the BB Blockbuster, it’s fairly simple — he’s gone. But if he wins and pulls himself off the block? That’s where things get more interesting. And the maneuvering going on behind the scenes as we get ready to vote could have a big impact on the game moving forward.

Big Brother Season 28 Week 3 Results
Sunday’s episode began Week 3 of the summer-long competition, as a new Head of Household was crowned. The Toolshed once again grabbed power for the week, with Kamu earning the HOH key.
Lyric won the Power of Veto, which was fine for Kamu’s plan to backdoor Jason. Before he could get to that, however, Kamu felt the need to blow up Jason’s game at the most dramatic tea party every thrown (sorry, Mallory). Did Kamu ensure that no one will want to work with Jason? Or did his tea party plan backfire?

Who’s got your vote?
So, the big question of the day is who will go home if Jason is able to pull himself off the block — Mallory or LaLa. And at this point it’s not looking good for Mallory.
First, it seems like Taylor, after struggling with the decision all day, has decided that she just can’t vote out LaLa. It probably makes more sense for the other side of the house to keep Mallory as a threat to the majority — and the icons in particular — but she hasn’t put in the work with Taylor and Taylor has been close to LaLa since the start of the season.

The bigger news on this front is Drew and Barrett coming to Devens and making their pitch to keep Mallory in the game. Obviously, it’s best for Barrett’s game to keep Mallory, as she is a number for him. They are initially firm that they don’t want to vote to evict Mallory, which begins to irritate Devens.

Eventually, however, the duo tells Devens they’ll fall in line and abandon Mallory. More importantly, we see them actually talk themselves into doing the deed! The pair convince themselves they’re better off sticking with the Crossovers/Toolshed and playing that out rather joining the other side of the house. Of course, an argument could be made — especially for Drew — that switching sides is actually better for their game and provides the best chance to break the strangehold the icons have on power in the house at the moment, but it looks like they don’t have the vision or will to see the opportunity in front of them to make a big move.

Drew better hope that Mallory can win the Blockbuster, otherwise an angry Melody could add to a growing pile of worries.
Are the walls closing in on Drew?
Drew has been shockingly blind to a growing danger coming from inside his own house. Dee and Angela have been itching to get rid of Drew for a while now. But now, he’s even lost Devens. For a while it seemed like Devens genuinely liked Drew and saw him as a major part of his game. But, Drew has been doing so much and has got so many tentacles in so many places around the house, that he’s lost his only real ally among the icons.
Devens: I was around (Taylor) & those other 3 today. They don't talk to her, give her the time of day, to the point that's it's weird. And Drew is showing his ass all over the place. He needs to go.

In more bad news for Drew, it appears that somehow Yash of all people has worked his way into an alliance with Kamu, Dee and Devens. In a world where he played things differently, this could have been a spot for Drew, which would definitely be better for his game. Yash was basically seen as a fake ally to be used until recently, but now he may have usurped Drew and Barrett in Devens’ eyes. The closer his allies get to Yash, the easier it makes for them to cut Drew loose.

At least he got some quality hang time with Melody before he potentially blows up their relationship and/or he gets backdoored by his own allies next week. And, of course, he did get to finally have a sleepover with Kamu.

Speaking of Kamu, during said sleepover Drew mentions that he thinks Lyric has a crush on Kamu. For his part, Kamu admits he is attracted to Lyric, but when they talk she doesn’t really give him much.

Elsewhere, Chuk appreciates that LaLa is willing to cook for the house. But don’t make the mistake of thinking that’s going to influence his vote.

KAMU won HOH on Sunday, making it three weeks in a row that a member of the Toolshed alliance took control of the house.

As head of household, Kamu nominated LA TRICE, MALLORY and LYRIC for eviction this week. LYRIC won the Power of Veto, so Kamu put up JASON as a replacement nominee.

This week’s target for Kamu is JASON. Kamu initially planned to nominate Jason for eviction from the start but then Drew convinced him instead to backdoor Jason just like the Toolshed did to Rome last week.
