Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
UPDATE: Morant returned to the bench but is now officially questionable to return. During the third quarter of Thursday’s game against the Golden State Warriors, Morant went to the rim from the left side of court from beyond the three-point line. As he went up for a layup, he collided with a Warriors defender and […]

We are blessed with two games on Saturday. That’s usually when the cartoons are looping on the digital display. But look at this face. There is not a hint of dismay. The games are fantastic with the Texans visiting the Chiefs and the Steelers battling the Ravens. Talk about a pigskin cabaret! I am here […]

He produced 23 points, four rebounds, four assists and a steal in 35 minutes while shooting 6-of-12 from the field, 5-of-10 from downtown, and 6-of-7 from the line. Unfortunately, he suffered a calf strain and has been […]

James sat out two games due to left foot soreness and fatigue. In the eight prior games, he shot only 45% from the field and 22% from downtown. JJ Redick has talked about giving James more breaks in-game so that he doesn’t have to miss multiple contests. James returned to action on Sunday and played […]

The Kansas City Chiefs have the AFC West locked up, but the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers are both likely to make the playoffs because only three AFC teams outside the division leaders have a record above .500. Oh, that silly AFC. These teams met in Week 6, with the Chargers galloping out of […]

Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant has been dealing with a back issue recently, causing him to miss a game last Sunday. Since then, he played 32 and 31 minutes, but he’s questionable for Thursday’s contest against the Golden State Warriors due to lower back soreness. If he’s unable to go, then Scotty Pippen Jr. would likely […]

Both Javonte Williams and Jaleel McLaughlin have played in every game this season, but McLaughlin (quad) will miss Week 16’s Thursday night matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers due to a quad injury he suffered in Week 15. The highest snap share Williams received this season was 67%, but since Week 8, Williams hovered in […]
