The NFL regular season is in the books, so the opening odds for the Wild Card playoff matchups are up on DraftKings Sportsbook.
On Saturday, the 5-seed Chargers travel to Houston to face the 4-seed Texans. The 6-seed Steelers travel to face the 3-seed Ravens in Baltimore.
On Sunday, the 7-seed Broncos travel to Buffalo to face the 2-seed Bills. The 7-seed Packers face the 2-seed Eagles in Philadelphia. The 6-seed Commanders travel to Tampa Bay and take on the 3-seed Buccaneers.
We get a Monday night game this week with the 5-seed Vikings playing the 4-seed Rams in Los Angeles.

Saturday Games, January 11
Texans vs. Chargers – 4:30 pm ET

Last season, HOU was 11th in EPA per dropback and 28th in EPA per carry on offense. While the rushing prowess improved to 24th, the passing game plummeted to 22nd this season. The pass defense was seventh-best in EPA per dropback, but they feasted on a weak AFC South. Jim Harbaugh instantly turned the Chargers around. He built from the trenches, leaning on his defense and running game early. As the season progressed, he let Justin Herbert do his thing and the Chargers scored at least 34 points in each of the last three games, all victories. LAC was 10th in EPA per dropback on offense. Statistically, the Chargers defense wasn’t great but they allowed the fewest points per game at 17.7 on the season.
Ravens vs. Steelers – 8:00 pm ET

This will be the third meeting between the AFC North rivals. PIT won the first meeting, 18-16. In Week 16, though, BAL asserted their dominance by pounding PIT, 34-17. BAL is riding a four-game winning streak, having scored over 30 points while not allowing over 17 points in any of those contests. PIT has lost four straight, failing to score over 17 points in any.
Sunday Games – January 12
Bills vs. Broncos – 1:00 pm ET

BUF is one of the best and most balanced teams in the league. They are third in EPA per dropback and second in EPA per carry. On defense, the unit is fourth in EPA per carry. The one “blemish” is the 19th EPA per dropback on defense. DEN lost to the Chargers and Bengals in Weeks 16 and 17. Bo Nix has been tremendous in his rookie season and the defense has been one of the best, but this is the playoffs and the game is in Buffalo.
Eagles vs. Packers – 4:30 pm ET

Jordan Love suffered an elbow injury in Week 18, but he is expected to play in this one. Jalen Hurts is still in the concussion protocol, so his availability is still in doubt. That’s obviously huge for this game. The spread indicates that he’s going to play, but you never know. Since the bye, PHI is 12-1. GB has lost three of the last five games. These teams met in Week 1 with PHI strutting out of Lambeau with the 34-29 victory.
Buccaneers vs. Commanders – 8:00 pm ET

These teams met in Week 1 with the Buccaneers getting the 37-20 victory. That was the first career game for Jayden Daniels, who went 17-of-24 for 184 yards while rushing 16 times for 88 yards and two touchdowns. Daniels has come a long way since then and the Commanders have won five straight. TB has won six of seven games, but they lost to DAL and the wins were against the Giants, Panthers, Raiders, Panthers and Saints, the exact opposite of Murderer’s Row. They did beat the Chargers in impressive fashion, though, 40-17.
Monday Night Game – January 13
Rams vs. Vikings – 8:00 pm ET

MIN got clobbered by Detroit in Week 18, 31-9. Sam Darnold was horrific, especially under pressure. That said, he was just a bit off on some throws. If those connect, then maybe the game changes. Prior to that, though, MIN won nine straight and has only lost three times this season. The Rams are middle-of-the-pack in both blitz and pressure rates. These teams met in Week 8 in Los Angeles with the Rams winning 30-20. Darnold went 18-of-25 for 240 yards and two touchdowns while being sacked three times. Matthew Stafford eviscerated the Vikings’ pass defense, going 25-of-34 for 279 yards, four touchdowns and an interception.
