The Luka Dončić revenge game on Tuesday was one of the most special and successful moments for the Los Angeles Lakers, in all facets. Dončić scored 19 points and added 15 rebounds and 12 assists, his first triple-double in Los Angeles. And in the fourth quarter, it was LeBron James’ time to shine. The greatest […]

As the road to the playoffs ramps up, tonight is a more modest offering of NBA action, with just five games on tap. The nationally-televised clash is an epic big-man battle between the Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic ($12,300) and the Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo ($10,700), but besides that, the other four games are interesting too. […]

The Philadelphia 76ers are pulling off an expertly-executed tank. Joel Embiid appears to be done for the time being, if not the season, as doctors scramble to figure out how to limit swelling in his knee. Other key contributors — Eric Gordon, Kyle Lowry, and Guerschon Yabusele — will also miss tonight’s game. Philadelphia has […]

The Sacramento Kings are going to make the Play-In Tournament — they’re 2.5 games ahead of the reeling Phoenix Suns and 4.5 games ahead of the Portland Trail Blazers — but what’s their ceiling beyond that? Winning two straight NBA championships would be an anomaly — no team has done so since the 2017-19 Golden State Warriors — so Jayson Tatum, who somehow earned the nickname earlier this season, might have a chance to make history in June. Tatum’s Boston Celtics will travel to face the red-hot Detroit Pistons in a […]

The highlight of last night was the Luka Dončić revenge game, and he did not disappoint; although he shot the ball inefficiently, he finished with a 19-point, 15-rebound, 12-assist triple-double, becoming the third player in NBA history to record a triple-double against all 30 NBA franchises. There’s no Luka on tonight’s nine-game slate, but there […]

De’Aaron Fox joined the San Antonio Spurs not to be a number one option, but to be the best running mate that Victor Wembanyama could’ve asked for in his second season in the NBA. But the seven-foot-three Frenchman went down with a blood clot in his shoulder that will cause him to miss the rest […]

With the confetti cleaned up, the light poles greased, and the Tush Push facing controversy, the 2024 NFL season is truly behind us, and next, fans’ attention will turn forward to 2025. The first major event on the NFL Calendar will take place this weekend in Indianapolis, as more than 300 top college prospects will […]

While the three teams at the top of the Eastern Conference are set, there is another tier of three teams that are seeking to avoid them. The Milwaukee Bucks, Indiana Pacers, and Detroit Pistons are separated by just one game for the fourth seed in the conference, and the worst of the three has a […]

Since the shocking blockbuster trade that sent Luka Dončić to the Los Angeles Lakers and Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks on February 1, one date has been circled on both men’s calendars: February 25. Tonight, the Lakers will take on the Mavericks for the first time since the deal in one of the most […]
