With a particular affinity for advanced statistics and sabermetrics, he’s been covering DFS Baseball, Football and Basketball for DraftKings dating back to 2018. Still, he is a Dolphins fan, so his decision-making can be questioned from time-to-time.
Look, I’m not generally a “trends that span a decade” sort of person, but the American League’s dominance over the National League in the All-Star Game is getting a little silly. The AL comes into tonight’s rendition in Seattle having won nine straight Midsummer Classics, and are 21-3-1 in the event dating all the way […]

We’re three days from the MLB All-Star break and two months away from the start of the NFL regular season. The NBA Draft and most of free agency has passed. These are the dog day, folks. As such, you have to sometimes do quirky things — gimmicks, if you will — to keep yourself entertained. […]

Well, it’s July. Congratulations. We made it. Seeing as this is my first betting article since the calendar flipped, it seems like a decent time to assess our results so far this season. After a 3-0 night last Thursday, we’re now sitting at 38-28 (+11.8u) on article plays for 2023 as a whole. Not too […]

Today is Wednesday. W-E-D-N-E-S-D-A-Y. I just wanted to remind everyone, because it’s the most Monday-feeling Wednesday we’ll get all year. So, with your internal clock all discombobulated and your stomach all full of hot dogs, may I suggest playing few MLB lineups on DraftKings tonight? It’s the exact sort of humbling and grounding experience you […]

We’re 35-28 on article plays for the season, which, in my head, reads like a Tecmo Super Bowl score. Well, in keeping with that analogy, let’s aim to add a field goal to the win column tonight — preferably one from Pete Stoyanovich. Go Dolphins. It’s a small MLB slate. Let’s dive in. Bet at […]

Did you know MLB All-Star Game voting ends tomorrow? I’m still out here thinking that Opening Day was just a few weeks ago, but apparently half the regular season has already passed us by. You know what they say, time flies when you’re scrolling 10,000 FanGraphs pages a day. …People say that, right? Let’s dive […]

I want to get excited about a rare 15-game featured MLB slate, yet there’s some weather concerns in the northeast that deserve our attention, specifically in New York and Baltimore. I’d tell Mets fans to pray for some clear skies, but there’s a good chance they’d rather not have to watch the team at this […]

I’m not an idiot. I know that tonight is the NBA Draft. Heck, there’s a far better chance that I’ll be watching Adam Silver awkwardly hug grown men than really focusing in on a Royals or Pirates game. But who said you have to watch your bets? That’s what the DraftKings app is for, people. […]

Today is the Summer solstice. That means this Wednesday will have more daylight than any other day in 2023. It would be exciting — if we were going to be outside. But we’re not. We’re watching baseball all night. Preferably with all the windows shut and the curtains closed. There’s nothing worse than glare on […]

It’s a pretty stacked pitching slate this evening. Not only are there four certified studs available for at least $10K, but the bargain bin is stuffed to the brim with interesting value options. I mean, Dylan Cease ($7,700) and Justin Verlander ($7,300) are both priced less than $8K. They were the top two vote getters […]

This is going to be the last Friday betting article I write for a couple weeks, because I’m a busy man and I have an array of industry titans that wish to wine and dine me. I also have a wedding and a graduation the next two weekends. But that doesn’t mean the first thing […]
