The Miami Hurricanes take on the UNC Tar Heels in Chapel Hill in a high-profile ACC matchup on Saturday. The game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Miami is a 14-point favorite against UNC on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Tar Heels are +455 to pull off the upset.

UNC vs. Miami Player Prop Best Bets

Javian Mallory Anytime TD (-140)

Javian Mallory is having an incredible freshman season for the Hurricanes. Miami returned its star running back, Mark Fletcher Jr., from last year’s team that made the national title game. Fletcher was expected to be one of the best running backs in the country this season. However, it is Mallory who leads the team in rushing through seven games. Fletcher leads the team in carries, but Mallory leads the team in yards due to his incredible 7.5 yards per carry. That is the seventh-highest mark in the country among qualified running backs.

Mallory is starting to take a lot of the important goal-line touches because of his great production. He has scored two touchdowns in each of his past two games. Mallory is now tied with Mark Fletcher Jr. for the team lead with seven rushing touchdowns. Mallory should keep the momentum rolling against UNC. The Tar Heels rank 98th in the country in defensive success rate. In a tough road environment, Miami should try to establish the run to control the game. Mallory is the hot hand at the moment and should find his way into the end zone against the Tar Heels.

Jordan Shipp 77+ Receiving Yards (-108)

Jordan Shipp has been the standout offensive player for UNC this season. He leads the team in receptions and receiving yards, and is coming off a monster game against Syracuse – he caught eight balls for 102 yards and a touchdown. Shipp now has at least 75 receiving yards in each of his past four games. He should keep that momentum going against Miami. The Hurricanes lead the nation in defensive EPA/rush. UNC is already not a great running team anyways, so they shouldn’t even try to get the run game going against this dominant Miami defensive front. The Hurricanes are also likely to be leading for a lot of this game, so UNC should have to throw to keep up.

Billy Edwards should look to his lead target early and often. Jordan Shipp can stretch the field for UNC, but also has reliable hands on big plays. While they rank first in defensive EPA/rush, the Miami defense ranks 86th in defensive EPA/dropback. They can be attacked through the air, and UNC should do just that. Jordan Shipp should reach this mark of 77 receiving yards on Saturday night.
