Miami Heat vs. Atlanta Hawks: Where the DraftKings Predictions Markets Stand for Wednesday, October 28

The Miami Heat made a splash in the offseason, adding Giannis Antetokounmpo to create what was envisioned as a new superstar duo with Bam Adebayo to bring the Heat back to the top of the Eastern Conference. However, after an 0-4 start for the new-look Heat, it’s looking like more of a belly flop than a big splash.

More than that, it’s still early but it appears that Giannis and Bam are struggling to adapt their games to mesh well on the floor. Per Sportsradar, Miami has played Giannis and Bam together for 71 of a possible 192 minutes and been outscored 201-162, roughly 26 points per 48. Every lineup that separates the two has done better, with Adebayo averaging 21.6 points per 36 minutes with Antetokounmpo off the floor versus 8.1 with him on it. Giannis is still Giannis no matter what, but the combination of Giannis and Bam has not delivered the results expected when the Greek Freak took his talents to South Beach.

So can Miami earn it’s first win of the season tonight in the ATL? The Hawks enter tonight at 2-2, including a 47-point win over Charlotte. Atlanta leads the NBA in assists at 31.5 per game, while sitting at fourth in the NBA in steals (11.25) and fifth in fewest turnovers (13.75).

Here’s a look at some of the notable markets on DraftKings Predictions for tonight’s 7 p.m. ET tip off at State Farm Arena.
